I heard it on TV and figured it was a group of anti-war nuts in the stands.

There's filth to be found among the faculty and student body of *every* University in the country, including Notre Dame.
(And,needless to say,Pennsylvania)

hundreds of people went ape-s%*t, barking, booing, and making a generally obnoxious racketI didn't see it or hear it, but here's betting the locals were protesting the all white milkmen uniforms of Penn State.
Seriously........ here's hoping it was not what you are thinking.

As the product of a Catholic university, I would advise parents not to waste their money on most Catholic Universities as they have become as politically correct as most state schools.
K-12 Catholic education is generally outstanding. Most Catholic colleges, including the Islamic-inspired Georgetown University, suck.

"You suck" came out of that mob and was unmistakable.
Sadly, it was what I thought. It was weird that the dorks in the booth didn't even mention it- considering how exercised they get about throwing snowballs onto the field and such.

Wow, have they no sense of decency? If a child of mine did that they would be in trouble with me, regardless of their age.

This was during a prayer? At Notre Dame? WTH??
Trying to remember back...this kind of thing may well have happened during the 60's too. Plenty of restless spoiled brats attending college these days, just as there were then.

There's nothing wrong with wearing practice uniforms game day. Penn State has been doing it for decades.
Uniforms don't win games. Players and coaches do.

Notre Dame has not been a "Catholic" university in many years; in many ways it's not even an American university anymore. The loonies have taken over.

Nah. Not a peep about it on that thread. That's baffling too, frankly. If several of you hadn't heard it too, I might think I was going nuts.

I am very disappointed that the American people have not reached their breaking point with this da*n trash.I wish to hear these basta*ds were set upon by the crowd and really beaten up.Tolerance be damned!

Shows you how the world has changed. back in the late 70 early 80s cant remember, I was at shea for the jets raiders game. The person i was with(18-19 yrs old) didnt stand for the natl anthem and an old man pulled him by his hair and made him stand, The crowd cheered and the guy i was with stood and i bet he stands at all the anthems now.
So f-ck them they should of received a beating, nevermind a tongue lashing from the booth
