Radio-Canada suspended her for breaching internal regulations that stipulate employees are not allowed to express their opinions on controversial issues.

Lara Logan of CBS News should be shown the door for praising the Taliban's "successes" in recent months.

It's only controversial if the "opinion" is coming from the "right".
The left leaning news media have been writing opinion as news since forever.

She will not win any media journalism awards expressing opinons like she did. Unless of course she takes the opposite tack, curses the military. threatens to murder government officials, and praises cowards, cheats and ne'er do=wells-of the head in the sand party praising the mullahs and camel breath jihadiis. Now we have a winner!

Only suspended???? Her support of our/her Nations troops is outrageous..
As a "reporter", she violated the prime directive of the MSM - Hell, she should have been fired.

The CBC, aka the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, aka the Mother Corp., is funded by us Canadian taxpayers to the tune of $1 Billion per year.
I was going to say split between 32 Million of us, but then I had to slap myself.
How many of us pay taxes, and therefore pay for this dangerous dinosaurs upkeep?
Grrr.

Sounds like Ms. St Pierre had some eye opening experiences and decided she was on the wrong side. She may not have work, but she'll sure sleep better at night.

That does seem to be happening more often lately.
If they think about it....., hmmm, we just need to get them thinking about it.
Good idea, Greenpees. :-)

Radio-Canada suspended her for breaching internal regulations that stipulate employees are not allowed to express their opinions on controversial issues. I gather that proper procedure as described in the CBC reporter's manual (like the BBC one) calls for weaving your opinions into the "facts" of a story, omitting critical details and making up othersso as to mimic objectivity while telling bald-faced lies for the cause of socialism and cynicism.
Do you think she'd like a job in the U.S.?

If that was on your resume, you'd be hired in a minute.

Probably, but keep in mind that she was employed by the CBC. She could be a plant.
Possibly a Begonia.
