Rush took a beating from his audience about this today, so I was interested to see it. It seems fairly restrained, and definitely a message that is not getting out much on the MSM these days.
I don't see the harm in lecturing Katie's fans on their lack of patriotism.

I wasn't one of those who defeated the Patriot Act. My only problem with it is actually part of a bigger problem we have in this country: the Federal creep into our lives. Once given/taken, the Govt. has a hard time giving that power up.
I don't mind letting the Feds in for a while when it's necessary, but we should all be justifiably leery. The Act should have been renewed for another 5 years.

"Defeat is Victory."It's newspeak, straight out of 1984.
Just like "love is hate", "freedom is slavery", "war is peace". Orwell had the contemporary Left nailed, even down to "Big Brother".
Another excellent example of Leftist newspeak is their calling themselves "Liberals".
There is nothing liberal about these people--they are tyrranical, totalitarian, oppressive, conformist. They are opposed to liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press.
As Rush pointed out, capitalism means liberty--is liberty--but these Leftists fight it constantly. They champion Marxism, which, like the rest of their agenda, requires a powerful, oppressive, totalitarian government for its implementation.
For that reason among others, Leftists love big, intrusive government.
Do not refer to these people as "liberals". That's their own newspeak for what they are. There is nothing liberal about them.
