This poll has been criticized because it is a Republican polling organization.

Internal polling is a waste. About as much credibility as a NY Times poll on President Bush.

Too damn bad the Dems did not listen to Michael Moore when he demanded that the Dems run Ned Lamont-like fools in every state.

If Lieberman wins, the left-wing psychopaths will proclaim that even so, it was a "moral" victory, which is what they always say when they lose an election.

I worked for P.O.S. in 2000. They have a lot of integrity and I never knew of them cooking polls to suit their politics. They're one of the best in the business. And I'm not saying that because I worked for them. In fact I couldn't stand the partners who owned the company. I only lasted there a year. But they do good work. If they say Lamont is behind, he's behind. Stick a form in the fool.

And then claim black voters were disenfranchised and that there was "massive fraud" at the polls.

isn't this the flip side of RI, or the attempt in PA last election ... where the GOP faithful, in those cases, want(ed) to vote out an incumbent who's on the far edge of our base's ideology?

Both the Daily Kos and the Huffington Post seem to have forgotten who Lamont is or was. They do not mention him at all today. This after Lamont coverage around the clock for weeks including pictures with Lieberman in black face.

I'm sure they've believed that the last six years. ;0)

"Editor's Note: Though a Republican firm, this is the Lieberman campaign's internal poll"

Liberman is not a republican. Never has been or never will be.

That poll is right. Lamont is going to lose the senatorial election in Connecticut.

As liberal a state as Connecticut is we are not suicidal putting another liberal in power like Chris Dodd.

Lieberman I can live with. He's not a Republican but he's not an ultra-liberal like Dodd and the bunch of Democratic criminals.

It depends on whether it's a properly conducted poll. If not, it's a waste. If it is, then it is worthy of consideration. My guess is that candidates conduct some of each for different reasons.

This race says that the democratic left is bizarre and that the democratic party as a group is crazy.

They shot down their own guy who is a hard and fast liberal even though they knew from their own polling that the state of Conn wouldn't go for a whacko anti-war candidate.

Let's pray this insanity infects their entire party nationwide.
