I wish Savage quit attacking fellow conservatives so much and concentrate totally on the real enemies in this country. He's fixated on Rush and Hannity and only those two radio hosts because those two are ahead of him in the ratings. Personally, I don't listen to Rush. It's not because I don't like him, but because I happen to like Medved better However, it was Rush that transformed my thinking back in 1998, and I have never looked back. I have to thank him for that. How many other people have been converted to conservatism because of him. Also, Savage thinks Rush is a sellout because he's doing a one-time commentary on the Katie Koran show. Was Savage a sellout for actually having a show on MSNBC? MSNBC is hardly a right leaning organization. Please stop Mr. Savage. You don't have to be jealous. Just do what you do, and don't worry about the others.
Oh no, he's not missing again!
The one in Seattles suburbs is the original statue of Lenin.
I hate it when he slams Rush, Hannity and Levin etc. That's uncalled for and unprofessional, IMO. Poking fun is one thing, but calling Limbaugh a fat slob who should go get a uniform and fight, is dumb. Hurts his personna, makes him sound like a crybaby, which he really isn't.
Enough, Mike! Drop that crappy schtick!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, my eyes! Don't ever do that again without a warning, Mc! Where's the Visine and cold-paks?
Katie Koran? LOL! Not bad BM. I think there's more to the feud with Rush and Hannity than meets the eye. It's been going on a while now, actually I think Bush's lack of conservatism is one aspect of it.
One problem is Savage tends to marginalize himself by continually to attack the number #1 and #2 respectively 'mainstream' conservative talk show hosts in the country. OTOH Savage brings to the fore things about them that need to be considered. I think it's rather funny myself in spite of it all and I do think Hannity and Rush and Savage are all on the same side.
If you find a copy of that, pls post it, b.
That's a Savageism BTW.
Ditto, b. See my Post #65.
Just saw that one. I was nervous I would be the only one on the thread that doesn't like that. Glad to see I'm in good company.
Where for art thou, r?
If he could just get past the negative criticism, and have some fun poking good-natured barbs at the other Talk Show Hosts, his star would rise immeasurably, IMO.
You're saying there's yet ANOTHER one in the Seattle area, apart from the one in the picture I posted?
He's ripped 4 callers so far. I wonder what his one-show record is? Anyone know?
'Rotten Day' scenario coming up... momentarily.
There's also one in Dallas, TX, with a plaque which says, "America Won!"
Works for me!
Actually, the statue in the picture I posted is in Fremont, so it must be the one you're talking about. It was built in Slovakia in 1988, although the article doesn't say when the statue was actually built. In other words, I guess I don't understand what you mean by "original."
No need to be nervous BM. We here are not Levin-istas. There is no PC thought control on this thread concerning Savage. Love him or hate him this thread is all about Savage.
There is a growing cadre of ex-Savage listeners who no longer listen for one reason or another, his Bush-bashing, Hush-bashing,Vannity-bashing etc. Sounds like you and BSB may soon join them but oh well, that's Savage.
Personally I find it amusing. Maybe I'm just more hardcore Savage than both of you. Savage doesn't care who he offends and I guess its that fierce 'I don't give a damn' independence that I love about him!
