And as for rescuing us Brits in WW11 perhaps you should learn that we had to pay the US for all your 'help'...in Gold and in advance. Thats what the RMS Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary were engaged in because they could outrun the U Boats carrying our gold reserves to New York, you counted it and when and if and you were not always satisfied you sent us our goods. Yes were 'very grateful' .

And before you start going on about the 'Marshall Plan'the prerequisite for that was to help the American economy before all and everyone else. It also makes me ask what would have happened if the Japanese had not attacked Pearl Harbour.
