Mmmmm.....whaleburgers!
YES!!!!
Trade ya some manatee meat for some whale burgers.
Well, the real question is this. Does whale taste pretty good?
Well call me Ishmael, that isn't going to be popular with the green crowd!
MMMMM, Blue whale BBQ filet. Tastes a little like chicken (of the sea).
Iceland whale hunt bump!
SAVE THE WHALE!!!! Collect the whole set.
I've never tried it myself...and I don't know anyone who has...but imagine eating a steak from a cow that subsisted its whole life on fishy-smelling crustaceans.
Blech.
I understand it's kind of like a fishy beef.
Whale tastes a little like Dolphin. If cooked in a chowder, it resembles a snail darter chowder, however.
"Do you have a leesance for your minke?"
Only two tons?? The average McDonalds goes through that much hamburger during a heavy lunch rush...
With all of the "homeless" around, yearning for a square meal, we oughta be looking into our own source of domestic whale meat, and avoid becoming dependent upon foreign blubber...
Powder..patch..Ball FIRE!
Can't wait to try some.... Anybody got some whale recipies?
Fish would be improved by tasting a little more like beef. It all kind of tastes the same. Tuna and Salmon can be distinctive, but I guarantee that if you blindfolded me and made me eat a bite of grouper, Mahi Mahi, swordfish, and sea bass, I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.

The Japanese seem to like it a good deal. I haven't been to Japan, but I'd sure try it if I went there.
It's very dark red meat.
For 4 servings:
800 g whale in 1 cm thick slices
1 red onion
½ squash
1 yellow pepper
2 tomatoes
melted butter for basting
Cut the meat into slices about 1-2 cm thick.
Baste with melted butter and grill the meat 2-3 minutes on each side.
Use your fingers to test if the meat is cooked. Raw meat is squashy, medium done is a little firmer, and well-done is firm.
Remove the whale steaks from the grill while still a little squashy, it will continue to cook itself and is juicy and tender while still a little red in the middle. Whalemeat can quickly get dry if it cooks too long, so good heat and short cooking time are important.
They say its delish.
