He's angling for the UN job he so dearly wants.

Yes, and I dearly want him to have the big job at the UN. Then, I dearly want the US to throw the UNprepossessing swarm, Cigar Man included, out of the country.

"We should be giving about 60 billion dollars a year. And in a budget that's what, over two trillion dollars, it's no money, really," he said during the interview. "And it's much cheaper than going to war. We've already spent over 300 billion dollars in Iraq alone”, he said.

Yeah, all those BILLIONS are borrowed money, you dumb SOB. You're asking us to go deeper in debt to finance the lavish lifestyles of tin-pot despots.

So, tell me, Mr. blue dress decorator, of what value would 60 BILLION be if after having spent 300 BILLION (and counting) in Iraq, we are no closer to the solution than we were 3 1/2 years ago???

I thought we had been spending billions in foreign aid for years.

And what about the U.N.? Doesn't our money there count as foreign aid? And what has the U.N. done to overcome terorists?

Oh, Bill Clinton! Out talking to Jimmy again?

Former US President Bill Clinton has called for the US to sharply increase foreign aid, suggesting it was important in fighting terrorists and "cheaper than going to war".

He overlooked pertinent issues that would have given him a different perspective on world issues while he was having a relaxing cigar in the Oval Office latrine as President.

Now he is just an uninformed citizen.

Awe. The flower child emerges. Make love not war. He is still nothing but a shallow hippie after all these years.

I'm no Rhodes Scholar, but it seems like such an oversimplification to suggest that paying tribute to nations will keep the US from having to go to war with them. Every nation that needs an infusion of cash will be lining up to go to war with us. He thinks its “no money” because he has never worked an honest day in his life. And they think Bush is an idiot...

More foreign aid!! Is the Felon kidding? We already give far too much and most of that is stolen by the happy recipients, the detestable leaders of the nations to whom we send the cash. The Swiss banks love these guys--they send billions of aid money for their private accounts. I'm totally against any more aid, including so-called humanitarian aid. It is all a scam.

Just how is funneling greater amounts of money into Swiss banks going to fight terrorism?
