Again, if you wish to pursue a Conservative Club at your work, go through the proper channels and ask permission from your employer or his appropriate representative. If he says no, either suck it up or quit.

I agree the employer has the right to conduct business as he sees fit. The tragedy is that in America, many business leaders, particularly at the Fortune 500 level, have succumbed to liberal ideology. Thus too many businesses encourage minority and homosexual associations, but would harass someone who is a public conservative.

I would not want to take the rights of employers away, but I wish more of them were on our side.

"Only", as in people expect that the top 5% must be making millions, yet, they don't make that much more than most other people.

$157,000.00 appears to be significantly more than most people earn, in America today, if the following article can be believed:

You need to be careful how you respond to people. If you'll research my posts, you'll notice that I am. Now, let's part ways. I never threaten anyone anymore...

Take your own advice.

Go aback and read #54. I asked you a civil question but your mind was too busy being concerned with my suggestion that you "get a grip".

Your first sentence was "How I know is really nobody's business".

Go away.

The board, all commercial entities must pander to the lowest common denominator in order to increase their market penetration. So they try to become all things to all people and fail.

Exactly. Was it Will Rogers who said, "You can fool some of the people some of the time. You can fool all of the people some of the time. But, you can't fool all of the people all of the time."? The same thing goes for pleasing people. I am beyond playing games with people.

An interesting post, and certainly food for thought.

I can think of no better example today of what it is you're speaking of than our leadership's domestic airport response to 9/11. We are being terrorized by a very specific segment of world society, and yet our unaccountable bureaucracy has decided to take it out on everyone by enacting invasive procedures that basically assume every single little person who flies in America is a potential mass murdering terrorist. And if one of us peons looks at an airport screener the wrong way or mistakenly says the wrong word, look out.

And the way things are going, it's only a matter of time before we won't be allowed to bring anything on an airplane anymore. The rate at which our freedoms are disappearing should be a concern to any thoughtful person.
