"fool", my muse said to me, "Look in thy heart, and write!"
if i'm figuring it correctly, my grandfather died in 1956.
i'm not sure the demand/need for space was the same at that
time as it has been since then. maybe it was a bit of good,
careful planning too.
i personally know of two such little ones. twins in fact.
delivered via emergency c-section due to complications from
ttts (twin to twin transfusion syndrome). they were born a day
shy of 25 weeks gestation. still alive, thriving and
developing despite expectations and despite the challenges
they and their family face.
thanks for all the info! :)
As a matter of fact, I do not think of homosexuality at all. My opinion would not change what people do and it is of no interest to me one way or the other as it is none of my business and has no effect on my life.As to the rest of your post, there are obviously cultural differences not only among various religions but also from one region of the country to another. Your custom(s) is/are right for you and the custom(s) of others is/are right for them. There is no requirement for anyone to adhere to your religion or your customs -- or vice versa.
Whether or not a grieving mother opened the casket of her Grandfather is fairly irrelevant. If she did, and it was not against the law, then it was o.k. whether you approve of it or not.
My point remains that just because you have never heard of something does not mean that it is wrong or creepy.
I am not fighting with you -- simply pointing out that you are not the arbiter of what is right and wrong for other people -- only for yourself.
I will leave it for others on this thread to decide for themselves who is being ridiculous.

"I am a Whistle blower in my area and exposed the child abuse theft of oxygen and blood, stole from infants during birth by OB/GYN doctors. Instead of exposing this Fraud so we can schedule forums and change the current procedures, Charlie Crist allowed his employees to push the "Panic Button" and have the Florida Capitol Police throw me out of the Florida Capitol and the employee"s (named Zee) cheif complaint was that I was filing complaints all morning long.
The Attorney General's (Charlie Crist/Florida) complaint form instructed me to return the form back to the capital office which I was doing and because the staff and I am sure Charlie Crist did not approve my civil rights and human rights were violated again by the person (Charlie Crist) who was supposed to protect me. This is sickening. Still, to this very day he has done nothing to demand a forensic investigation of the abuse of Florida's children at the hands of OB/GYN doctors.
Many politicans are much like pedephiles, they prey on the poor, the weak, women and they grossly abuse their powers. When they are exposed, they simply say sorry or create a smokescreen story to divert people's attention from the truth. In my case, they simply say she has been Baker Acted and is not mentally stable, that is the smokescreen, they hide behind. When will this abuse be discovered by the masses of people. When will someone ask, why are so many C-sections performed? Why are the cords of the infants clamped immediately after birth? Who will ask, why is there an increase in anemia, attention deficit disorders, low birth weight (weight loss shortly after birth due to blood deprivation)? Who will ask why is jaundice on the increase? These ailments are induced by OB/GYN doctors, they cause harm, even though they vow to "Do No Harm!" The theft of our babies oxygenated blood is criminal; this suffocating of our infants deprives their brains, lungs, liver and etc. of the oxygen in the blood cause harm and compromise the babies qualities of life.
American people are in for a rough and rocky road, which will cause people to respect FREEDOM, when they feel it again, they will have had to fight for it!
Sincerely,

(labeled as a nut. Crist and his ilk like to label people as nuts so they have no standing or rights). When she says she is being followed, I tend to believe her. She's right about people needing to wake up.
I've heard that newborns are EXTREMELY resiliant at birth and can cope with oxygen deprivation much better than a baby who is even several days older.
The brain stem controls the breathing and is the last to go with brain damage. The body tries to save itself by preserving it.
We all make bad decisions in our lives and his was worse than usual. I really feel for this guy.
I read a simialr story in Reader's Digest (yeah, well....) about a little boy who was supposedly born without a brain. Apparently the spinal fluid pressure was so high that is somehow gave the appearance of not being there. He turned out pretty normal, too.
I have. My grandmother requested that she be buried in the same casket as my grandfather, who had died 30 years previously. There was an extra charge (of course), and some paperwork associated with the exhumation, but they pretty much opened the coffin up, and laid her in next to him, and sealed it right back up.
WOW. You learn something new everyday. Still think it's creepy, but to each their own.
I will pray for these little ones. May God's infinite grace and mercy protect these precious babies and comfort their parents.

oh thank you! loads of prayers later they are both growing
and developing. they will turn 2 yr this december :)
Most of the tombs are made of brick, only the wealthiest folks could afford stone which had to be brought from afar. The bricks are laid with lime mortar and then, often, stuccoed and white washed [also lime based]. During yellow fever epidemics, when life was so perilous that families had to put bodies of their dead out on the curb (to try to remove the contagion and, hopefully spare other family members), to be picked up by the "dead wagons" (earlier equivalent of modern hearses), bodies would often be sprinkled with quick lime to try to hasten decomposition -- again to try to quell contagion. These were days before running water and yellow fever epidemics did not subside until open cisterns for the collection of rainwater were no longer widely in use. Walter Reed who was born in Gloucester, Virginia, a place abundant with mosquitoes, (and others beside Dr. Reed), made the connection between mosquitoes and yellow fever.

Ugh. I really could have done without reading this story. Ever.
