My main point is a RINO is better than a dem any day.
Not always. Sometimes the Democrat is the Republican...oddly enough.

If a Republican knows he has your vote no matter what because of the R after his name, why would he care what you think?Agreed. Ashamed, I know the next few weeks are going to be difficult for you, but be not afraid, it will (probably) be ok in the end. I don't think the demogoguing demorats are going to take ANYTHING. But we can't be letting the linguini-spined pubies know that, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

In a very polite way, I encourage you to learn how to punctuate your writings correctly, as well as use more proficient grammar-skills. You may get your point across more accurately.

I'm sure there will be a concerted effort by democrats in sheeps clothing to get Republicans to stay home "to send a message".

Unfortunately it is. They scare people into voting so effectively here in Baltimore the dead rise up and vote.

It is a conundrum, isn't it? But what's the solution? It isn't voting for a Dem or a libertarian/independent [except in very special circumstances]. The solution isn't not voting, either. What is it, then?

Please!!!
What do expect? Perfect candidates? Ain't going to happen, bub.
YES, IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME TO GO TO THE POLLS, if you care one whit about the future of your country.
Everyone on that ballot will be a fallible human, and nobody will agree with you on all things. But if you and your ilk wimp out in November, YOU can look in the mirror later and take the blame for whatever chaos and national security nightmare results.
Bush has made mistakes, just like every administration ever elected, but at least he's not a gutless appeasor, and he's trying his darndest to keep our country strong and safe. Keep in mind, please, that the Presidency is not a dictatorship, and that he has to have the support and cooperation of Congress, the judiciary, and foreign allies to get much done.
Your attitude makes you part of the problem.

If you remove an 'a' from the first word in your screen name, it becomes Ashmed.
Ashmed is an islamic-style name.
Which proves you are an Islamic terrorist.

It doesn't hurt to put a little fear into the hearts of GOP policritters, even if we are going to show up at the voting booths (wearing gas masks) and vote for them anyway.
I second what the other guy said about using the primaries to express dissatisfaction.

Your willingness to vote for any serpent with an (R) after its name makes you the problem.

But what's the solution?
If a politician can be sure that his re-election is not a certainty, he will have to make an effort to listen to the voters. That is one reason I am so adamantly opposed to straight-ticket voting options being available in the voting booth. If you can't be bothered to select each candidate based on who they are and what they are about, you should stay home on election day.
If I had my way, there would be no party affiliation after each candidates name on the ballot and pushing the straight-ticket button would fire the tasers and release the hounds.
