You know, the more this guy talks, the more I LIKE HIM...!
Excellent post.
When he spoke of his house painter, it was in endearing tones. Would the left have preferred it if the Senator had instead spoken of his painter as physically robust, but deserving to be KNOCKED OFF THE LADDER AND DEPORTED?
That'd have been nice, eh?
It's a little like the twisted reacion of (the granted few) asian multiculturalists: should you describe asians as, "a model minority" --they get MAD.
I mean, let's say that instead we described asians as "restaurant-owning tax evaders".
Would THAT be more acceptable..?
What is the pattern forming here? A group of people YEARNING to be wounded, and YEARNING to get mad.
Well, I hope they stay that way, cuz the great unwashed center will get tired of that, by and by...

The Muslim community in Brooklyn, specifically the young immigrant men, those who worked entry level jobs(like cabbies and livery drivers) and were also looking for and found identity in radical Islam, this group knew of 9/11 well before the attack. Their imams knew of 9/11 plans before the attack.
Burns' should set up a press conference to apologize, then to the mic trot out a dozen NYPD detectives and Brooklyn FBI investigators to list the names of the taxi drivers in NYC/NJ that have been arrested/convicted/jailed/deported for ties to terrorist networks. Several dozen at a minimum who can be identified publicly.
And there are more yet, arriving daily, who follow the same creed.
MT people must pay at least some attention to their liberal rags, for they have kept the popular liberal Max Baucus around since 1979. Burns does not realize the danger he is in.
