It would be hard to see too far into the past and expect to find evidence of the “Big Bang” when it’s been posited as a theory that this “universe” is merely an ‘arm’ or ‘extension’ through a rupture of another dimensional universe. The mixing of physical properties between the two could be giving false evidence.
On the other hand a mental picture is worth 10,000 words.. -OR- just blessed wonderful silence... with only the sound of wind thru the pines.
Thanks Hose!
I always have a very nice reaction to having the dream. I awake totally refreshed and ready to face whatever life bings that day.
Thanks AG! It always had affected me in EXACTLY that way!
"No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries."
Daniel 2:27-28
I entreat our Great God, Who in Wisdom reveals mysteries, to show you the interpretation of the dream. It is a privilege to do so in the name of His Son, my Lord Jesus Christ, the Way, amen.
Thank you! As you so rightly suggest, I shall continue to seek the answer in the only place from which it can possibly come.
That was Voegelin doing the singing, but I'm definitely in the chorus....as are you, dear marron! These passages from Voegelin strongly evoke your beautiful essay, "On Liberty and Human Dignity," to my mind.
Maybe we should post your essay???
It's such a beautiful thing....
The economy of God's providence is to me the most magnificent, totally amazing thing! Oh blessed wonder, and all praise and thanks be to our God, the Lord of Life, of Light, of Love, Who is "with His creatures" now and always!
In the love and peace of Christ, dearest sister!
Am looking forward to it, T'wit!
Seems to me like this place is your spiritual home, and you will see it some day, and live there....
Your dream is a very great blessing, Bigun. It's a wondrous thing that you feel so "at-home" there, in the peace and beauty of the setting, going about your daily labors, with loved ones close by....
"Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, 'I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.'" [Matthew 15:32 KJV]
"I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way"! That's the body, that's the earth, that's here... not some airy Eastern vision of pure spirit trapped in a human shell. In a way we can reflect upon with profit, the miracle of loaves and fishes was about earthly concerns, not (only) about showcasing Heaven. It was Christ, before Eliot, saying, "You must not deny the body." It was about economics.
Let's find a spot :-) It's a subject little discussed and it can be fun to think about.
Hi there, T’wit! So glad to see you!
Indeed, marron’s essay is in perfect harmony with your outstanding post yesterday, dearest sister in Christ!
