Actors of his kind are a dying, if not dead, breed. Place Henry Fonda in that category. They espoused true American values and unlike nearly every actor in Hollywood, save a few, they were true role models. Midway is still one of my favorite movies. Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum, Glenn Ford, James Coburn, Hal Holbrook and Charlton Heston. It doesn't get any better than that. Rest in eternal peace, Glenn

Ok, now I'm confused, as people were telling me he was a MARINE, yet he retired as a captain in the USN, not USMC.
