Due to these internal political limitations GWB will never commit these forces against Iran until it is too late (as might already be the case). I disagree.
This is all much ado about nothing. PR only, not lasting. It all reminds me of Reagan. How the same media constantly called him stupid, ineffective, old, etc, etc. And in the end, it's all forgotten and he's considered a great prez.
This will be the same. This war is a big win. 5, 10, 15 years from now, all the suicide bombers will be considered a stupid, ineffective, worthless tactic.
Like Kamakazis in WWII.

In 5, 10, 15 years the west will prevail but at what cost?
Once the Iranians acquire nukes they will be used. Once used the Islamic and liberal propaganda becomes worthless and we do what will be necessary.
I hardly call this result victory with one or more Israeli, European or, God forbid, American cities vaporized.

The root of the trouble is that this entire Moslem region is totally dysfunctional, by any standard of the word ... We might as call it the Moslem ghetto. A very large ghetto, but a ghetto just the same -- as dangerous as it is dysfunctional.

And it turns out that the suicide tactic is a big failure.
To quote Patton: "No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. You win a war by making the other poor bastard die for his!"
These are mere PR stunts. Completely ineffective in any lasting, meaningful way. We occupy the country. We win all the battles. We're winning the war of attrition.
Don't fall for the PR. PR is designed to fool the public. Don't fall for it.
