lol! So was I...I think that is more evidence that this was staged...You hear the zipper first like she is getting ready, then you hear it again, but no tinkling sound. This was done on purpose, there is no way this could have gone on that long without someone in the control room hearing it and cutting her off. CNN gives their little dig at Bush again.

Unless the mic was near her waist, where her zipper would be, I don't believe that it captured her unzipping or zipping her clothing. Plus the zipper sound was too short and high-pitched. It was more consistent with the unzipping and zipping of a small make-up bag or something similar. I heard no stall interior-type noises and the chit chatting sounded like two women at a mirror applying makeup or something similar.

Chalk this one up to gross incompetence. Not so much by the news anchor, but by the control room staff.

A unique classic from the '60s. Any guesses?

Why, it's gotta be Judy's Turn to Cry!

Whoever was running sound should have muted the microphone at the sound console.

In fact.....the volume should be turned down before the microphone is turned off, otherwise they'll be a loud popping noise.

In addition,...the talent shouldn't have to worry about turning off the microphone.
