This is for the wild and wacky files.
Here's his ad in The Economist: http://www.steorn.net/media/downloads/steorn_ad01_screen.pdf
Should be amusing to watch, and good grist for the tin foil hat wearers.

Gotta give some kind of credit for taking it this far. When you think about it, in a way they already are generating free energy.

Even if possible, it will never be available to us peasants until someone figures out how to put a meter on it.

How much you wanna bet the scientists are gonna drop kick this one?
They are humoring the lowest element on this one.

Just for the sake of argument, if such a thing could be created I would think that selling the "energy generators" would supplant meters. If the corporate giants could somehow stifle free enterprise I would argue that this would be so big you'd see work shop models being manufactured all over the place. Sort of the same thing that happened with the Wright brothers.

I don't think he's gonna find 12 real scientist who will waste their time, that is, unless there is federal funding involved.
To: Uncledave
The heck with a jury of 12 *scientists* - weld a couple of motor mounts on it, I'll pull my Chevy 350 and see if it runs my pickup truck.
If it can't pull on hills, who would buy the technology anyway?

You need magnets the size of Rosie O'Donnell.

Should be amusing to watch, and good grist for the tin foil hat wearers.True indeed! Either they've discovered, stumbled upon, worked hard to find the discovery of the millenium. Or they are incredibly good grifters. We'll need plenty of popcorn for this show...
Perhaps the discoverers have seen this movie and been inspired to discover - or delude?

You talking magnets or gas?

Steorn are picking and choosing which scientists they will allow to review their design. they are asking everybody interested to sign up and provide a resume/crednetials, then they will choose. This is BS. The proper way of doing this is to get your patents nailed down tight then demonstrate the thing to sources of financing, then produce, and then if needs be release technical docs for peer review by ANY scientist.
This total BS!! It is just hype to help sell an IPO stock issue, just like the "It!' several years ago (a glorified scooter vastly inferior to most other 2 wheel scooters.)
