Even a broken clock is right twice a day. This time, the meathead is right, much as it pains me to admit that.

When the left admits they are hostle toward christians I will expect Mel to admit he is toward jews. Otherwise he has done enough apologizing.
Meathead and his cronies in Hollywood never seem to miss a beat when slamming a person of faith, a christian tradition, or a christian faith itself. I am not fooled into taking the bait. There is a massive double standard. Mel is the victim at this point. I wonder if this does go back to the fact that Mel made a blockbuster without the help of the Hollywood power center.

Insane.
"The Passion of the Christ" is not even remotely anti-Semitic. Not even a little. Not one bit. None.

Yeah, and Gibson's hatred of the English is reflected in "Braveheart". He got some 'splainin' to do!

Not even remotely.
Not one frame of The Passion was anti-Semitic.

Hey Meathead, you didn't get you panties in this much of a wad concerning 9/11, Hezbollah's attack on Israel and Islamic Jihad, why don't you put all that angst into fighting the real enemies of the Jews. But then, that would take REAL COURAGE.

My first question is, who is Rob Reiner to tell Mel Gibson what he has to do to be redeemed. I believe this is the most arrogant thing I've ever heard of.
My second question is, does Mr. Reiner believe that the New Testament is anti-semitic?
I think Mr. Reiner needs to just get over himself. I wonder how he thinks he himself might be redeemed from his arrogance?

"When he comes to the understanding that he has done that, and can come out and say, you know, 'My views have been reflected in my work and I feel bad that I've done that,' then that will be the beginning of some reconciliation for him," Reiner said.
ROFLMFAO! Rob Reiner! LMAO! Mr. American (barf) President himself?

My second question is, does Mr. Reiner believe that the New Testament is anti-semitic? Many aspects of Jesus Christ's passion were foretold in the Old Testiment, so Reiner must believe that it, too, is anti-Semitic.

Reiner is not wholly wrong. There were some gratuitous scenes quite literally demonizing Jews. The kids hounding Judas Iscariot being actually demonic imps? That's not in any Gospel text, nor to the best of my knowledge, the visions of Emmerich from which Gibson drew some inspiration.
At the same time, it is misguided to say The Passion was wholly antisemetic. Christians watching Jesus getting crucified generally don't blame the Jews - they thank God for dying for their sins. In the hindsight provided after an alcohol-fueled tirade, however, there are some elements where Gibson's prejudice did peek through.
Still a powerful movie, though.
