Years ago I had a book on him wherein he bragged that he'd never held a real job and that he was prepared to plead homosexuality to escape the draft.
[so much for the "working man's man" and "patriotic" self-marketing]
I don't know what became of that book but I've never seen another copy of it since.
I think it got "purged"....;D
Julianne played Georgie on Sisters. I can't believe that was almost 20 years ago!
No, he left his redhead wife, for Patty 20 years ago.
So he gets tired of his old wife and trades her in for a newer fresher model............. before he even seperates!
Typical Elitist!!!!!
I really don't think Bruce left his first wife for Patti.
And why does anyone care?
seriously?
why?
I've been to the Stone Pony...........
The boss wasn't there that night, but it was a great bar and I ahd a great time.
Once a dirtbag, always a dirtbag.
Hope his new squeeze realizes that she's gonna get dumped.
During that now-infamous tour, Springsteen's marriage to Julianne Phillips dissolved, his romantic relationship with Scialfa began, and plans for her record were once again put on hold. "We'd gotten together at that time, and it wasn't really an appropriate time to make a record," Scialfa says. "So I waited a couple of years."
The woman is not named, but she is said to be a redhead, just like Scialfa. Anonymous sources told the Post Bruce and the woman had been seen at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
The Post says Springsteen has moved out of his family home in Rumson, and is living at his farm in Colts Neck.
Springsteen attended the 75th anniversary of the Manasquan Inlet on Tuesday with his two boys, Evan and Sam, but sans spouse.
You couldn't be more wrong...Springsteen a legion of devoted fans who follow him and he sells out every concert he puts on ..He's a legend. PLEASE DON'T MINIMIZE HIS TALENT just because he's a jerk.
His marriage ended and THEN he took up with Patty.
Did you also get to see "Park Place" before it "mysteriously" burned down?
The last time I went there they had a band that was note-for-note a Moody Blues clone.
It was awesome.
I'd never seen a club that had 3 separate bars before.
[hillbillies don't get out much]....LOL!
Last time I went to the Pony back in the 80s, a band called "Bad Sneakers" was playing.
They were sort of a Cars/The Knack new wave type band.

Nah, I went to the Pony on New Years Day (night) 1980
A buddy and I went to see a friend who had moved back to NJ from Ohio the year before.
Go all the way to Jersey, (north central) then drive to the shore, find the Stone Pony (almost by accident) only to hear some band that played "both" kinds of music country and western...........
sad.....................
The boss didn't show, but we DID meet some hot babes there...................
"The boss didn't show, but we DID meet some hot babes there..................."
Well, at least the night wasn't a total loss....;D
The jackass! I hope his wife takes him to the cleaners. He deserves it.
His last settlement was fairly expensive at around 15 million. Patti has kids, so he deserves at least as much, but his income isn't nearly what it was....
Far from a loss................
Time has not been good to any of them.
(He deserves to lose at least as much again, that is.)
