Getting your checks in the mail is the primary, no, the sole focus that Dobson has. He, like the Left Behind and apocalyptic gang, along with Pat Robertson do nothing that isn't aimed at the redistribution of wealth; yours to them. Frauds and charlatans all.
BINGO! That's why the establishment is always surprised when socially conservative referenda passes. Peecee has made cowards of most of us.
For the record, that wasn't a quote from Dobson.
Well who said it then? Because the way it's written, it certainly sounds like it came from Dobson.
"If these bills are signed into law, who knows what the liberal courts in California will be able to make out of this in the years to come? There goes the next generation of children," Dobson said.
And he noted that churches where pastors do preach about Romans 1 would no longer to eligible to get fire or police protection, because the proposals forbid any organization that receives government funding from portraying homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality in a negative light.
Total B.S. How do you explain that 62% of Californian voted for Proposition 22, which basically banned homosexual marriage? Have you ever been to California?
We don't know who said it. The writer of the article didn't quote Dobson.
Targeting Children, Part 1: How the gay movement intends to capture the next generation
Targeting Children, Part 2: How the homosexual movement uses public schools as instruments of change
Targeting Children, Part 3: Activists encouraging experimentation
Targeting Children, Part 4: Access to children: homosexuality and molestation
So how do you know Dobson didn't say it?
When Dobson was quoted in the article his words were surrounded by quote marks. "Just like this." But there were no such quote marks on the text in question.
The way to fight this public school indoctrination movement is to argue that people have a right in a free society to have differing beliefs on the morality of homosexual activity and that public schools should not force one point of view on everybody.
Where do you get that stupid statistic? 80% liberal???? When you make up data you are at risk of sounding like an idiot.
As for Bill Simon's loss, there is not one shred of evidence that he lost because of his conservative views. He lost because Gray Davis spent SIXTY MILLION dollars making a twisted argument that Bill is crooked.
Based on your reasoning liberal Republicans who get nominated should win in general elections or do better than conservatives. They don't. They lose far worse. Tom Campbell running for Senate got 32% in 2000! John Seymour was clobbered by Feinstein in 92, getting only 34%. In 1994 when Republicans were winning everywhere statewide, one of the few to lose was pro-abortion Michael Huffington.
Go spin your myths elsewhere. You have no facts to back up your dumb assertions.
Well that could easily be an error in style because the article certainly reads like Dobson said that.
You are certainly free to believe that. Dobson was quoted elsewhere in the article but the text in question wasn't attributed to Dobson as a quote.
That's certainly one way to fight it. We've never had our kids in governments schools and never will.
Balls.
I don't agree with your assessment of the Left Behind authors. It's not their fault that they wrote a book that people purchased like gangbusters. Their publisher, Tyndale House, publishes the New Living Translation of the Bible. This publisher is very well respected within the Christian community and present a number of different Christian authors that have different eschatology. In addition to Jenkins and LaHaye they also publish Colson, Dobson, Joel Rosenberg, Gary Smalley, George Barna, Karen Kingsbury, Lisa Beamer.
No? Here's what the article said:
""If these bills are signed into law, who knows what the liberal courts in California will be able to make out of this in the years to come? There goes the next generation of children," Dobson said.
And he noted that churches where pastors do preach about Romans 1 would no longer to eligible to get fire or police protection, because the proposals forbid any organization that receives government funding from portraying homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality in a negative light. "
Sounds like Dobson said it to me. That's what the article said. Bunch of crap!
"Getting your checks in the mail is the primary, no, the sole focus that Dobson has. He, like the Left Behind and apocalyptic gang, along with Pat Robertson do nothing that isn't aimed at the redistribution of wealth; yours to them. Frauds and charlatans all.
"
I sure wouldn't disagree with you, and Dobson will lie to do it, too. Sad, because there are legitimate people trying to cut down on the influence of gays in society. Dobson just capitalizes on this, and doesn't really give a darn, as long as those checks keep rolling in.
Fortunately, charlatans like Dobson do not represent the vast majority of Christians.
