I LOVE young freepers for the enthusiasm you have towards politics and the world...that I did NOT have at your age..
I was worried about finding the right guy to marry at college...LOL
Anyway....don't automatically assume that we older folks know all of the answers...but, at least give us the chance to express ourselves from our experiences...
My son is 27 and in 2004...he was SURE that Kerry would be a much better POTUS than George Bush...and I asked him why, and where did he get his knowledge to come to that decision...and he said "Jon Stewart's Show" on Comedy Central.
I love my son dearly...but I still told him he was crazy...and proceeded to tell him about his father's experiences coming home from Vietnam...and getting NO, ZERO respect from anyone...
THAT is the experience...

I can assure you my son knew his a$$ from a hole in the ground. He served honorably during X42 and I'm damned proud of him and his service.
