Nor does this woman, who is among the wealthiest in the world, allow herself the decadent pleasure of one of the new generation of luxury cars. Sources in Edinburgh indicate that she doesn't even have a Chelsea tractor. She prefers something anonymous, as does her husband Neil Murray.
(from UrbanDictionary.com) Chelsea Tractor |
Any expensive 4x4 that is driven in an urban environment as a status symbol (typically for the school run) and will never be driven off-road. Look, that Chelsea Tractor nearly flattened that kid! |
Hey, I learned something new today.

I love stories like this. Makes me reaffirm (not that its necessary) my beflief in Capitalism and why it is the best and the fairest (yes libs, it *is* the fairest) system of all.
I develop a product that everybody wants and are willing to pay for. Tiny amounts of money come in from millions of sources and I become an uber millionaire, not that I have become although I would most certainly like to be. That's it. Simple as that. With an incentive like a lot of money, a lot of people would try to make a lot of nice things and then trade among each other. As they do. What is so hard to understand ?

Firstly I wish her all the fun she can have because she deserves it.
Secondly, those photogs should be fed to the sharks.
Thirdly, I really wouldn't want to be Neil. I just get this feeling he doesn't get a chance make a whole lot of decisions.

What does JK Rowling do with her money?
Whatever she wants. It's her money.

I don't have any problem with how she lives. She earned every penny through her own creativity and effort. Good for her!
