Most public sector wages are tied to the minimum wage so up they all go! And the reason the Demonrats hate Wal-Mart is that Wal-Mart is very anti-union. And the unions are the 'Rats' bread & butter...SSZ

Well everything isn't expensive in California. Food for example is much cheaper, as are a lot of other discretionary items.
Gas is pricey, but housing is outragously expensive. Once we ship all of our illegal immigrants to the other 49 states prices should come down. ;-)

You're right. I doubt any economist worth his soul wouldn't crack up laughing.
It's very simple. Manufacturers or just about any business that doesn't need to be in a blue state won't be in one. The sales arm of companies, or the people who have to be where the customers are, will have those people work at blue states (certain retail boxes, restaurant business...).
