Simply a tax increase in sheep's clothing for the sheeple.

I can't wait that long. In four years, four months, seven days, 15 hours, and 19 minutes, I will become a resident of the Texas Republic.

Most public sector wages are tied to the minimum wage so up they all go! And the reason the Demonrats hate Wal-Mart is that Wal-Mart is very anti-union. And the unions are the 'Rats' bread & butter...SSZ

Support for embryonic stem cell research, Quixotic assault on global warming, now a pandering to the left on minimum wage. I voted for Arnold three years ago, but it's now likely I'll sit this election out.

Well everything isn't expensive in California. Food for example is much cheaper, as are a lot of other discretionary items.

Gas is pricey, but housing is outragously expensive. Once we ship all of our illegal immigrants to the other 49 states prices should come down. ;-)

Seriously, you couldn't live in a cardboard box in California on minimum wage.

You'll only be punished yourself (and the rest of us) if Arnold loses.

The headline is wrong - this increase makes us 3rd highest to Oregon and New York.

And don't forget those individual cities like Berkeley that have a "living wage".

You're right. I doubt any economist worth his soul wouldn't crack up laughing.

It's very simple. Manufacturers or just about any business that doesn't need to be in a blue state won't be in one. The sales arm of companies, or the people who have to be where the customers are, will have those people work at blue states (certain retail boxes, restaurant business...).
