it reflects even worse on our nation and our president. In 9 days I haven't heard a word from Bushie or anyone in D.C. Why should we allow any American anywhere in the world to be kidnapped. In 9 days we could have had ships and cruise missiles off shore and finished making Lebanon look like a resort city compared to Gaza. Draw your own conclusions, Bush took no action when our embassy people were killed in Gaza either. The Gaza strip must become an abject lesson to moslems and the world that will never be mistaken or forgotten.

Although I come to FR several times a day, I usually do not post... I prefer to just read your posts, as I am in awe of such an intelligent and creative group of people... I guess I don't post much because I don't want to come off as being dumb.
However, right now I NEED to post. Whether or not anyone wishes to read what I say is not important. I just need to say what I'm feeling inside right now. Please bear with me...
Since 9/11, I have heard many people say that the Arab countries should just be wiped off the face of the earth. Being the good Christian and optimistic person I am (or was), I'd come back with "well, I'm sure there are innocent Muslim women and children who don't deserve to die like that." What an idiot I was for thinking like that.
None of them are innocent--NONE of them. The men don't care about their women or their children... the so-called "innocent" women and children are just as likely to be killers, either now or in the future.
I HATE Muslims. I HATE Islam. Religion of peace my a$$. Muslims are being treated with kid gloves in our own country, so as to not offend them. And it sickens me more than I can say.
This morning, when I saw the video of Steve and Olaf, I got physically ill. I'm very scared for them and praying as hard as I can that they will be released soon. But my gut is telling me this isn't going to end well for them. I pray to God in Heaven that I'm wrong. But we all know what those barbarians are capable of. We've seen what they do when their demands are not met.
I feel as though I'm losing faith in everything that's good. I've never felt this gnawing hate in my soul as I do right now. I don't know how to feel anymore. And I don't know how to deal with it.
I'm tired of being scared.
I apologize for rambling... I just needed to vent. Please don't flame me for my political incorrectness... I feel bad enough already :)

This is a tactic that the Islamic Arab terrorists have used for many years and the Western politicians are simply thrilled with it.
Because it lets the Islamic terrorist group that happens to be in control of the government at the time, Hamas, PLO etc. to have the plausible deniability that they need to get money and recognition from the stupid Western leaders.
This way our spineless leaders can lie to themselves and their stupid constituents[ that's us] by saying that they do not negotiate with and fund Arab Islamic terrorists who murder our civilians [9/11]or Israeli citizens [last sixty years and counting] with our tax dollars.
Of course these bribes of land and money to cold blooded killers only convinces them that our leaders are weak-kneed [true]and that if they will just keep on killing and making demands they will win.
The only thing our leaders accomplish is they ease their conscience by believing one another's lies and they keep their rich friends who put them in office happy by not upsetting the flow of oil money or the world stock markets.
The fact that it is the ordinary everyday people around the world and here who are doing the dieing while the rich and powerful, get richer and more powerful,... well that just the way it is and what we get for being a member of the common underclass.
