It doesn't matter. Truth isn't determine by a majority vote. Your argument is the same as "everyone's jumping off the cliff, why don't we?"

I don't believe in organized religion and this is why. The Bible doesn't say anything about birth control and is how most women see it regardless of where they worship.

What, no scripture to throw out?

I don't support the position that the Scripture is the be all and end all of divine revelation. Besides, the teachings of the 12 Apostles who knew Christ and walked with Him clearly said that abortion is immoral.

This keeps coming up. Hoever, the Plan B website has old information. Newer information that shows that it only works before ovulation was presented to the FDA during the hearings concerning making it over the counter.

Just look at the information from this natural planning information website:
http://www.woomb.org/bom/science/physiology.html
See Figure 1
In fact, we give progesterone to protect early pregnancies. In natural cycles, progesterone increases after ovulation.

"I don't support the position that the Scripture is the be all and end all of divine revelation."

Disagree with John Chapter One?

"Besides, the teachings of the 12 Apostles who knew Christ and walked with Him clearly said that abortion is immoral."

To abort a fetus which is viable is murder.

But the Plan B pill prevents fertilization.

But the Plan B pill prevents fertilization.

In addition, it also prevents implantation. Scripture is silent on the issue of when life begins, other than the fact that God formed us in our mother's womb, so in the absence of a clear answer, wouldn't it be better to be cautious?

Disagree with John Chapter One?

What exactly do you mean? John chapter one supports my position that Christianity is a religion of the Word Incarnate, not merely the written word. Also, the last verse of the last chapter of the same Gospel supports my position.

But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written (John 21: 25).

"In addition, it also prevents implantation."

I don't believe so.

So in relation to John 21 are you saying that someone else can come up with a revelation and we all have to agree to it?

The guy who posted this is an OB-GYN.

Plan B kills embryos. If you have no problems with that, then it is a great drug.

Apostolic tradition is legitimate revelation.

The word "embryo" implies post-fertilization.
