Yes, we are at war. Do you think for a nanosecond that Rudy Giuliani is the only person who can lead? What a poor example, if that is the best we can come up with. Those issues are what is important to most people in the South and Midwest, IN ADDITION to national security. This is not a time to give the country over to the liberals. Giuliani IS A LIBERAL!

George Bush went to Bob Jones, didn't seem to hurt him any. Oh and BTW, I am a Catholic, I chose to over look the visit and not turn it into a federal case.

Social issues carry the day in GOP primaries,

You just don't get it...unless we win this WOT...there won't be any SOCIAL ISSUES to carry the day. Of course, the ones you care so much about will be taken care of...I can guarantee you when the Islamofascists take over, there will be NO abortions and NO homosexual marriage. WAKE UP. Vote for the person who you trust with war on terror.

I don't think he can win the south and pray that I am right. He is pro-gay, anti-gun, and anti-life. I want nothing to do with him and will either vote third party or stay home if he is the nominee. I know he might be the lesser of two evils but at some point the lesser of two evils is still too objectionable to support.

Rudy Giuliani could not have picked a better time to come to South Carolina.

Rudy can stay the he11 outta South Carolina. Take his liberal, "I love queers, I love abortion," social agenda and STAY OUT!

South Carolina Ping

Add me to the list. / Remove me from the list.

PS to Rudy: And take Pandsey Graham with you!

Hi, Upchuck.

You know that I can't stand Lindsey, but I have to tell you, I love Rudy. If he wins the nomination, I'll vote for him in a heartbeat.

He doesn't represent everything I like, but he represents a lot of what I consider most important and that's primarily national security.

I still see him as that little crumb cruncher crawling around on the floor at his father's inauguration. He has to be in his teens by now? He is probably a perfectly nice young man and I'm just a biased old lady? Nah! He is probably still obnoxious. LOL!

I'll not vote for him, even if the other choice is hillary.

He's probably about 20 by now. I am sure he must be OK, or we would have heard about it.

Rudy said regarding abortion and gays he would enforce the law. That is what a Prosecutor and a Mayor is supposed to do. I never have heard him say one way or the other what he thinks personally about these issues. I think the hysteria surrounding persons who are not as holy as thou, is every bit as disturbing as the liberals kicking Lieberman out of the party. It's destructive and long run will turn the average folks even further off.

Do you think Rudy represents the best the Republican Party could run in 2008?

Pretty much. A lot of freepers will think that's sad. But I think the Republican party has moved left and the Democrat party has moved to outer space.

I adore Sen. Cornyn, but he's never made even a peep that he's interested in the presidency.

Keep em spinning counter clockwise.

Obviously you have a great deal of deep insight into just who Rudy is, and what he would do as President.

After all - most Presidents spend every waking hour worrying about abortion, gay marriage, etc.

Commander in Chief is the title.

Oh - well - we both have our minds made up.

One thing however - if your favorite nominee is wins the primaries - I WILL VOTE FOR HIM..

You gonna vote for Rudy if he wins????

I'm with you. Lindsey is a perfect example of someone who seemed to have it right on the social issues but has failed miserably on other issues. The war on Islamic fascists is a non-negotiable issue to me. I want a leader who sees the war for what it is, one who won't back down or ditch his teammates (like McCain) or his country (like most Dem hopefuls) when the battle gets tough.
