Bttt.
Hmmm... There are other terrorists that aren't Muslim. IMO this article is pretty stupid...
This was great.
Baruch Goldstein
Oklahoma City.
Im all for racial profiling but there are many other 'terrorists' other than Muslems. Many just don't have the guts to follow through with their beliefs.
From a Canadian perspective, the 100% figure may be correct.
Worldwide, it's definitely 99+% -- the IRA has pretty much ceased operations, and the Tamil Tigers and the Timothy McVeighs of the world certainly don't operate on a global scale.
And never will if they see the guts of those that do hanging from a yardarm!
Apologists (of whom there are very few) will say he stopped a pogrom, but you are correct he was a terrorist.
The exception, of course, is McVeigh. He has no idea the damage he did to this country by being the exception.
Well stated. 99%+ BTTT
"ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of Canada's 'home-grown terrorists' are Muslims."
Is this a joke? Canada has a pretty big eco-terrorism problem and they are not ONE HUNDRED PERCENT Muslims. ELF is based in Canada. This statement is a flat-out lie.
Well, there's Timothy McVeigh, an anti-American conspiracists who was trying to enact revenge for the United States being in the realm of Islam (Iraq) (Yes, Waco was a more proximate cause, but Iraq was why he hated America.)
McVeigh's objectives were identical to Bin Laden's; he just admitted his Nihilism, rather than claiming an allegiance to an imaginary god.
The author is correct that the current War On Terror is being fought primarily against terroristic organizations that act on behalf of Islam. But there is no denying that organizations such as the IRA, Peru's "Shining Path" and the Tamil Tigers are terrorist groups which are not Islamic.

To those who want to split hairs over exact percentages
perhaps you missed the point.
Heck, if they want to do that, I guess they could bring up Alexander Berkowitz, too.
I would think the point would be the part the author capitalized, bolded, and repeated eight times.
Otherwise "the point" is something about Bible prophecy. I can't remember a single world event that someone hasn't claimed to be foretold in Bible prophecy, so that isn't much of a "point" at all.
Most terrorists these days are islamofascist. Most, not all. Why do Moslem apologists point to the 2% that aren't islamofascist as some kind of equalizing factor? Nobody can explain that except they and everybody else knows their math is really poor.
I know a lot of people here don't like Wikipedia, but these are actually pretty good lists and I don't think you can argue they they underrepresent Muslim terrorism.
