Bought my first new car in 1975, got a great interest rate from the Credit Union, 15.5%.
It was a (don't anyone laugh) Vega. No fancy stuff no air conditioning.
I just got out of college. WWent to every car dealer in town and asked what was the cheapest car on their lot. Only requirement was automatic . I couldn't drive a stick and was too stubborn to buy my first car and have someone else drive it home for me.

I believe so or at least she has a fiance..I remember this as she was going thru chemo and she mentioned how she was blessed he was by her side, unlike Lance Armstrong with Sheryl Crow.
