So what makes you believe we also couldn't have put them on the moon without the help of astronauts? The Russians didn't need people on the moon to install theirs. Speaking of the Russians, a faked moon landing is one of those things that the Soviets would've loved to rub our noses in - if only they had a suspicion that we'd tried to win the Space Race by cheating. They monitored our comms between the spacecraft and Houston carefully, yet, no complaints.
The level of technical wizardry which you attribute to NASA makes one thing plain: it would be cheaper and easier just to go ahead and send up a manned flight.

He must be lying (along with thousands of other people) if you believe the moon landings were hoaxes. And what about other countries? How did we fool them? Many countries certainly had the technology to track the mission. I guess they must have been in on the hoax too!

Great post Defend.
BTW, the conspiracists that were alive at the time mostly just want to sell Conspiracy Theory books.

I believe it would actually be easier to land on the moon than it would be to pull off the world's most audacious conspiracy. Then tell me why JFK said in 1961 that he wanted a man on the moon by 1968, and it happened while this year Bush says he wants a man on the moon by 2015. Everything I ever learned taught me that once you do something it doesn't take as long to do it the next time. So you tell me what's wrong with this picture? Besides the lunar lander blew up the year before they say they landed on the moon. Tell me that quality control fixed the problem that quick and gave the go ahead. Your theory is also wrong. I was an adult when they say they landed on the moon. So much for all the conspiracy nuts not being born at the time.

Oh gee. I didn't say they didn't climb into a capsule and take off. I said they didn't land on the moon. Sure astronauts have died on the launch pad. What does that have to do with this issue?

No one has mentioned it yet, but there is also the little detail of 800+ pounds of lunar rocks we have in the labs.Hey, I have a bunch of rocks over here. They are all from moon. Prove that they aren't.

However that said please do not use 60 minutes as a source to base your facts. Why? It's the same station that Cronkite broadcast the supposed landing on. Do you tell people to not believe that broadcast?
To: thoughtomator
Mislaid, my hindquarters. Someone made a ton of money off of selling that on the black market.Right. I just watched it last weekend at a party at George Soros's house.

I don't believe that explanation at all. Everyone has humbling experiences and they do talk about them. Otherwise you wouldn't know about them.

No Sir. I use other sources to base my beliefs. SeeBS and 60 minutes have shown me time and time again to be less than straight with the facts.

How did the camera get out there and get set up if Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon?
To: seacapn
My mom took a Polaroid of the TV when Neil stepped on the moon.
Maybe she would donate it.

You have got to be kidding! Go back and review the video and sequence of events and ask that question with a straight face.

My mom took a Polaroid of the TV when Neil stepped on the moonAnd that would prove that they had TVs back then. Right?

OK I understand. Old Buzz Aldron had the perfect response for a person that called him a fraud. Those guys are true heroes. I will leave it at the.

I can understand. Sometimes it is really really hard to provide proof. I'll leave it at that.
