They need to be deported. WRVA is reporting that "they were just looking for work" and a judge in Alexandria is going to decide if they get deported or not.
FWIW, I'm not buying the "just looking for work" line.
These guys are going before an immigration judge so that they may be formally deported. This will limit their ability to get visas in the future.
DECIDE?? IF they should be deported?????????????
WTF????????
Well, if you listened to Mac Watson (on after Rush), you would know how true your statement is.
That was pretty much my reaction.
Actually, I think all of them ought to be shipped out to Gitmo.
"and a judge in Alexandria is going to decide if they get deported or not. "
Why is this even a question?
Of course they need to be deported.
Don't tell us you thought they made hoagies and peddled nasty coffee.
"Just looking for work?" They came here specifically to go to *college* in FREAKING MONTANA. And they end up here in Richmond, Virginia, fifteen hundred miles away, "just looking for work?!?!?" Puh-LEEZE.
Revoke their visas, deport them, and permanently bar them from ever legally re-entering the country. While they're being held for hearings, go through their past with a finetooth comb, and if anything smells the slighest bit fishy, throw 'em in Gitmo.

I know - that's just how WRVA is reporting things.
One little, two little, three little Eygyptians......
Nobody is talking about the cost of looking for these so-called students.
Skip all that other stuff - do not pass go, do not collect $200, go to Gitmo.
This PC crap is going to be the death of all of us.
" ... police received a call that gave investigators "a pretty good indication that the people [the caller] saw were in fact these students." ..."
*Hello, tipline? There are some swarthy-complected people milling around outside my apartment complex and one of them looks like Tony Soprano's son ...*
LOL.
And that moron, Mac Watson, is talking about the Chesterfield cop who was killed over the weekend. Of course, that was a terrible situation. Not one word out of his mouth about the Egyptian "students". I swear Mac picks the weirdest things to focus on.
When I repeated the line about the judge "deciding if" they should be deported my husband went ballistic.
As he said, the judge should be deciding WHEN no if.
OK, I won't.............

I know he is usless. There was about 2 days of my life that I thought he could be "handled", but he is too stupid for even thought.
I get return emails from him from time to time saying my information/topics is "too real" for his show. What the crap does that mean. I guess he doesn't want to be a serious talk show which really sucks for us.
Yes, they all arrived on the same flight - 17 people total. (Although I was unnerved by several media reports saying there were 18 total, when most said 17.)
They came in to JFK. Montana State U didn't send anyone to meet them; they were supposed to catch a connecting flight to Bozeman. Some reports said there was to be a stop in Minneapolis on the way, but I've never confirmed that or seen it confirmed.
At JFK, there were delays in customs, but 5 of them made their connecting flight to Montana. Another one was late and missed that flight, but got into Bozeman the next day. Six total showed up and are taking the course. (Again, the media who reported 18 total people also reported that 7 showed up and took the course!)
So, there were 11 missing all this time, since July 29. The normal timeframe for waiting to report them is 30 days, but this was just a 30-day-long program, not a whole semester - so the MSU people called it in about a week later.
The first guy, found in Minneapolis, said they had just gone into the rest room at JFK and when they came back, their group was gone. (All 11 in the restroom? OK.)
So, they split up and went to various places - an uncle in Minneapolis with a grocery store; a hometown friend in NJ with an Italian restaurant; another friend-of-a-hometown friend with a pizza place in MD. We can assume they ate well.
The kid found at Chicago O'Hare was picked up when he tried to use his remaining ticket to get to Bozeman, but it was supposed to be from JFK, not ORD - so the airline called LE.
I don't know the story on the Des Moines three, who supposedly went to San Francisco first and then to IA, lol. *How ya gonna keep 'em down the farm, after they've seen Fris-coooo?*
And the last two, found sitting in front of an apt complex in south Richmond, VA, we're still waiting to hear the "story" on.
It would be a good idea to have the home country pay the cost of enforcing visas, by treaty. I doubt if it's ever been done though.
