I have read a couple of Bernard Lewis' books. He is scholar on Middle East History, and his opinion is significant on this issue.

I think that the latest plot by the Islamist to blow up airplanes over the Atlantic was the Aug. 22 plan. We can only hope that that was all they had in mind.

I don't think he's going to do anything on Aug. 22. He may think that the Twelfth Imam will return on Aug. 22, but I suspect he will be disappointed.

The article I read said the trial run was supposed to be "today". I don't know know if that meant Friday or Saturday (not sure of the date of the article). And that the main attack was planned for Aug. 16. I'm really sorry I don't have a link, having read so many articles about this. It's out there somewhere, or many another FReeper can help.

Has anyone heard the Homeland Security information spot on radio? I heard it today in Houston. It was about having a family plan and making certain everyone knew what to do in case of an emergency. Just a small snippet, but I don't think I've ever heard it before.
