Lebanese Army? What Lebanese Army? There is no Lebanese Army....it's all Hezbollah! How stupid can our government be in agreeing to push this nonsense down Israel's throat?

This could be the beginning of the end for Israel, if they fall for this lame BS again. It has the stink of the State Department all over it. Israel must refuse this invitation for defeat. If that means replacing Olmert, who won't fight, and scorning world opinion, so be it. World opinion won't get any better anyway..

Rice said, "no status quo ante." What the hell is this if not a return to the status quo ante? The Lebanese Army will be a mere shadow army, as always; the hezbollah won't disarm (Who is going to make them?), as before. Rockets and border provocations will continue to creep up on Israel. The "Multinational force" will be a target of terror a la Beirut in 1983 and skedaddle home to its various origins, and the savages will once again have calculated correctly: The West is moribund and willing to sacrifice Israel to buy itself some time..

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan expressed disappointment.....

Oh No!!! Kofi is 'disappointed', heaven forbid.

btw, I wonder if Kofi is Tom Daschle's illegitimate brother? They both seem to have a 'disappointed' gene.

"Disappointed!!"

But given that I predict 1000+ or more Hezbollah have been killed during this conflict,

This is the great mystery of this action. How many Hezbo are there ... how many are dead? In order for this action to have been deemed successful, 20,000 worthy oriental gentlemen should have left the planet.

Yep and that the silly inane Lebanese "proud" nation, military as its silly President mouthed today, did not help the Israelis that 6 years ago. Sending in that army is worse than if we sent in a well trained group of our Eagle Scouts. And btw, we should allow them to fire back at Hezbos. Hopefully, the Ehud cabinet will reject his wussiness, drive past the Litani and go on into the Beakka Valley and disrupt the Syrians resupplying of the dirty little Islamofascists.

I think the Israelis made sure they had boots on the ground in important areas before allowing the UN to enter the picture. I don't think they will leave until the UN enforces the resolution to force the Hezbos to turn in their weapons this time.

I was still disappointed today that the Cabinet voted 24-0 for the cease fire. I was hoping for them to fire Ehud and call for Benny. The Israelis have lost this time because of poor planning and giving into the PC UN and even Prez W. I am saddened about this because I can see Israel suffering all over again for many months as the Hezbos regear and kill all over again.
