Good for the Italians. They didn't waste any time.

Now, how about the forty or fifty or hundred here in the USA??

Yeah, but what do expect TSA to do? Tell women they can't bring formula or breastmilk on board?

Why not? If they have breastmilk, then it's stored in a very safe tamper-proof container. There's no reason to pump before the flight. If the kid is still on formula then request a special bottle from the airlines. If folks can get special dietary meals then why not formula. I suppose bringing the dry mix and asking for a glass of water would be too much for some folks? Better yet, don't fly with infants.

Because they have smarts and balls.

Thanks for the ping. I hadn't seen this. Something's up but now that so many have been caught, it might be called off.

How about this? Keep the milk in the insulated cooler with a ziplock bag of ice to keep it cool and a few extra empty bags. Right before you have to go through screening, dump the baggie of ice. When you get on the other side of the screening area, ask one of the restaurants for some ice and replace it. If you have to dump it again before you board, be certain to ask one of the flight attendants for ice when you pre-board. Look for one that looks like a mommy. Just keep a few extra baggies for multiple changes. I think that would work.

It's worth a try, I think. But carry that pump--just in case. ;^)

Thanks for the ping, prairie. It sounds like it was going to be even bigger than we'd originally thought.

Unhinged and plain arrogant. If they don't want to deal with something, they just blow it off, or blame someone else for it.

Depending on your length of flight, I would recommend starting your baby on a couple of onces of cereal a couple of weeks before you go. You can mix it with either formula or some apple juice. Your baby may be able to go 4-6 hours without needing to eat again. I was lucky, I could supplement my kids with a bottle any time I needed to. Have you been able to do that? If you get desperate, perhaps you could try it for one feeding. Good luck. Have you seen the earplugs out that help the baby's ears get pressurized? Having them suck on a pacifier or lollipop (yours is a little young for that) works well too. :)

Turks recaptured Jerusalem from the Crusaders on 23 August, 1244

Orlando Bloom's fault!

I just watched that (again) Wednesday night. Rather good movie I thought.

But Jews can touch pigs and fly in planes with pigs. We just can't EAT them. Pigs actually love us because they feel safe with us, LOL. So Petting the United Pig or the British Airways Pig before boarding would be fine for us. (Of course in the act of Jihad isn't even a Muslim allowed to break his laws?)
