One reason we didn't stop 9/11 was because we weren't allowed to infiltrate AlQueda back then. The liberals wouldn't allow it.
We weren't allowed to use "unsavory characters" as agents. Those were, of course, the only kind of people who could join AlQueda.
" U.S. officials believe the 29 members were divided into multiple cells and planned to break into small groups to board the nine planes."
Do the math...9 planes.
Are 26 suspects enough to pull this off?
I think it's a Di*k with ears.
Exactly so!
Bump to pass on in the morning.
Just most of the lefty ones.
Yet, in their stupidity and hubris, they (and I mean skeazoids like Boxer and Pelosi) will still try to make the NSA snooping non-story into a campaign issue come election time.
bump
"An alert the FBI and DHS sent out Thursday to state and local law enforcement agencies which is classified "For Official Use Only" and was obtained by TIME"
How was it obtained by Time ?
Any wonder why the CIA might have been left out of the deal.
That's not fair! That's like, uh, lying or something! That is SO totally dishonest. How can the British DO such a thing??
Greta's thoughts.
Your # 6 is brilliant!!!
Harry Reid's outrageous statement today will backfire on him. I posted it, and Ken Mehlman' response here:

It might have been fun to hear John Bolton lay it on the line for others today at the UN.
We can't possibly get that lucky.
So, TIME is now "Official"?
This is second hand, but my husband heard Roger Hedgecock on Rush say the CIA _was_ kept out of the loop because the Brits didn't trust their security.
Dubya knew about it because they reported that he spent the teleconference w/Blair on Sunday talking about it. Dubya also made references to leaks being not tolerated, w/o this context, in the past few days.
I haven't seen the usual liberal military or security talking heads today, either. Did anyone see Weasely Clark?
'nuther thing - one of the hallmarks of al-Qeda is detailed planning (although they did blow it with the timing of the 9/11 flights they chose), but these guys don't sound like they had a firm grasp of a plan presumably just a few days from execution.
his I don't believe. A terrorist wants to kill as many people as possible - just as they did on 9/11. There is NO WAY in this world you can convince me that terrorist ONLY WANTED TO KILL THE PEOPLE ON THE PLANE in the MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN. Come on!
It would have been a PASS THE POPCORN moment, for sure.
Nope, I sure did not, now that you mention it.
Pleasant.
