I agree, the time has come and probably long overdue. The President is just now coming to publicly admit to defining the threat. Now Mr President bring out the heavy ordnance for the elimination of these sand-nazis. Step up to the plate. The Buff fleet is old, but still very utilitarian world-wide.

The President says one thing but the lack of a formal declaration says another. The President says one thing, but the prosecution of our soldiers everytime they pull the trigger says another.

Really? So when do we declare war on these Islamic Fascists and their state sponsors - and then fight like we want to win??? We did that in Oct 2001. Pay attention.

Best to laugh on a high stress day.
Better to laugh AT Chuck Schumer's plight. :-)

Seems like saying we're at war already would preclude a declaration of war, which starts hostilities and is therefore not needed, seeing as how hostilities have been underway for quite some time.

But is it still the religion of peace??? Yes. Why is it so difficult for so many around here to separate freaks from an entire religion? Perhaps you're also comfortable condemning an entire race or ethnicity because of the crimes of a relative few?

Isn't it amazing that it took nearly five years, 3000 bodies buried or incinerated, and two wars later--and all those casulties, to get this common sense lexicon to go MAIN STREAM by having the big man at the top go and use it on Live TV??

I guess he is worried about the elections in November? So he figured he would throw a bone to the conservatives. Let's see if he keeps this up.

>>"this nation is at war with Islamic fascists." But is it still the religion of peace??? I wonder what brought this change in rhetoric. It's sure an improvement over the ROP.

We did that in Oct 2001. Pay attention."We" did, or he did? Funny, I don't recall Roosevelt chasing down our soldiers everytime they pulled the trigger or dropped a bomb, and Roosevelt never brought a group Nazis to the White House to declare how peacful their ideology was, and Roosevelt didn't tell the country to go shopping, and Roosevelt didn't let the media divulge national secrets.
We're at war? Really??
