It's really a "BOHO" - Be On the Hear Out.

Listen to every roll call you come across.

"Ahmed."

"Ahmed."

"Buehler."

"Buehler."

"Mohamed."

"Mohamed."

If no one answers, they're still missing.

It's the cheapest way to go too, about $2200-2300.

... August 22, the night they believe Mohammed lit up the skies by ascending...

I suppose we could help things along a lot by lighting up the sky that night in Cairo, Beirut, Damascus, Baghdad, Kabul, Amman, Islamabad, Riyadh...

I was hoping they were the new surprise replacement Houston Texans football team.

From: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news&id=4442690

Excerpt: "(New York-WABC, August 8, 2006) - Eleven exchange students from Egypt are now missing. Police say the students failed to make a connecting flight out of JFK to Montana where they were going to study English at a university.

Investigators don't know where they are or where they could have gone. And federal agents are worried tonight about where they are and why they vanished without a trace....................................
Experts say what's troubling is that the FBI has been unable to track them either through e-mail messages or bank transactions."

Thanks for finding that, Chena. So they were to be on a connecting flight. So it's even more suspicious they've not shown up, imo.

SHIRLEYTOGAWD the FBI doesn't think terrorists are STILL operating through e-mail or bank transactions. Because if that's what they are basing our safety on, we are DOOMED>

Here's something else to consider, if they had innocent (non-terroristic) reasons for vanishing, why not wait til after the class to do a bunk? I would think it would be a whole lot easier to vanish after keeping to your commitment than before it. So, if your intentions are bad, why skip the class and risk drawing attention to yourselves? Because the class takes a month, and whatever you're going to do instead (whether the attack or distraction) requires you to be in place before that month is up?

Okay, now I do have a bad feeling about this. If these guys just wanted an excuse to come over and earn a living, there are ways they could've done it that would have been less risky in term of drawing attention to themselves.

With the NYT broadcasting the fact that the FBI tracks "persons of interest" by those methods, do the "experts" actually believe that the Egyptians would be brain-dead enough to use e-mail or make bank transactions?

They've obviously found new ways to get under the radar. Maybe they've become other people and made themselves invisible. You know with identities like: Jose Garcia, Juan Vanterra, Jorge Hildado...

That doesn't sound good. If they're just out on a magnificent bender you'd think they'd need money and want to brag about the fine time they're having.

Yes, a connecting flight. Now why would all 11 Egyptian students decide NOT to get on their connecting flight. If they had decided to just spend some time in the area, wouldn't they have rented a car, or taken a taxi, or whatever. To just disappear without a trace. I tell ya, those little bells going off in my head are sounding more like huge gongs.

Mr. Mew just had a good point: If the Feds know enough to know where to look for e-mails and financial records, why no pics?
