MoveOn's members donated more than $800,000 for Sen. Robert C. Byrd, West Virginia Democrat...and former Ku Klux Klan Kleagle (or was that Grand Kleagle?). There you go, in one sentence the past, the present and the future of MoveOn's failure and irrelevance. How could you possibly square anything they are ostensibly about with support for Byrd?

That primary is today, correct?

I find myself rooting for Lieberman, even though I despised his actions during the 2000 election.
The War on Islamofacism is the most important issue today. Lieberman supports the troops and their mission. Unless a Pubbie can defeat him, I hope he wins and sends a message to the moonbats.

Yes, primary elections are always the first Tuesday after the first Monday in August.

Yes, primary elections are always the first Tuesday after the first Monday in August. If by "always" you mean "never before 8 August, 2006" you'd be right. Connecticut used to have a September primary.

I also read that Soros' money is behind the CT Primary as well.

Unless a Pubbie can defeat him, I hope he wins and sends a message to the moonbats.I'm ambivalent about it. I would like the moonbats to take the dems so far over the cliff that they are destroyed as a national party. Maybe then there could be a new national party that can function as a loyal opposition. Since the Vietnam War, they have been out to lunch with utopian attitudes about any issue, but most especially foreign affairs.

No matter who wins, it sets back some group of rats. Enjoy

I also read that Soros' money is behind the CT Primary as well.MoveOn has contributed about $250,000 to Lamont. Assuming Soros gave a piece of that, as he has supported MoveOn in the past, it's still dwarfed by the $4 million+ of his own money Lamont has poured into the race.

Who is taking bets that MoveOn.org is behind the Lieberman website being hijacked?

It seems to me that Lieberman is one of the few Dims who could really fool the public that Dims could make a reasonable government while consistently pulling the Liberal Party Line on all practical matters.
I would like to see him go.

And have him replaced by someone even further to the left? Lieberman may be a Democrat politician but I have no reason to believe he is as black in heart and soul as the people in his party. He voted to back the Iraq action and has not cut and run like so many of his dumbocrat colleagues.
He is by far the lesser of two evils in this race.

I'll lose the battle to win the war.
