It makes sense.

They always carried at least one state - why can't that state be Nevada?

The Carter-Mondale ticket lost the state of Nevada twice. Mondale lost it again in '84.

Former President Carter and his vice president, Walter Mondale, are teaming up again

I was wondering where that malaise was coming from...

Let's take it easy on our ex-veep.

After all, the Mondale-Ferraro ticket gave history of its best campaign slogans ever ... Vote for Wally and the Beaver

Mondale is getting nuttier and nuttier. First he says that we should bomb North Korea. Now he's campaigning for Carter's crack-head kid.

I'm sure I speak for all Nevadans when I say we're thrilled that Jack Carter is busy planning our future from our capital city, Minneapolis.

Asked whether his eldest-son status figured in getting his father and mother, former first lady Rosalynn Carter, to attend the Minneapolis event, Jack Carter said, "I tend to think of it as me being a lot more qualified for this Senate seat than anyone else."

Gee, he's just as smart as his father. I don't think Senator Ensign has much to worry about.

It took a combination(Watergate and the weakest candidate(Ford) before Bob Dole) that comes along only once in 10,000 years to put Carter/Mondale in the White house.
