God, that is one of the most blatantly cynical things I've ever seen anyone do. Clinton missed his true calling as an actor-he sure wasn't meant to be the President of the US. He'd have fit right in with the Hollyweird nutcases.
Much Ado About Poo.
Yeah, I first saw it on Rush's TV show. All the MSM showed that night was a very sorrowful Bill shedding tears about the loss of his friend. But the other one Rush showed (Bill Clinton cursing) was much worse. And you could tell that it was Bill's voice. It was a long diatribe with many words bleeped out. Rush should show that one again.
Well he's convinced me. Just for that I'm not voting for President Bush in 2008. Forfeit paid.
WASHINGTON - In its continuing crackdown on on-air profanity, the FCC has requested numerous tapes from broadcasters that might include vulgar remarks from unruly spectators, coaches and athletes at live sporting events, industry sources said.Obviously, Bush at the G-8 summit is far more the center of attention by his own choice than some guy in the bleachers of a sporting event.Tapes requested by the commission include live broadcasts of football games and NASCAR races where the participants or the crowds let loose with an expletive. While commission officials refused to talk about its requests, one broadcast company executive said the commission had asked for 30 tapes of live sports and news programs....
"I don't know how they are going to rule, but they asked us for tapes with a specific emphasis on crowd noise," said another TV executive, who also requested anonymity. "If some bozo in the crowd calls the ref an a--hole, the commission is asking for a copy of the tape."
The author's point is rock solid. Game, set, match.
Odd, last time I posted a mild criticism of some socialist program on DU under my nom de Lousy FReeper Troll, one of the DUmmies responded with those exact words....
Actually, it's the Sam Houston Institute of Technology.
An entertaining tale, but I believe the word existed long before the shipping industry. Probably shouted by the first caveman to step outside into a pile of dinosaur dung.
Rush's tv show was great because it offered a way to view clips that barely got any broadcast coverage (if at all).
That's what tv can do that radio cannot.
But highspeed internet (and dedicated websites) can do what computers could not in 1993.
The reality is that the left so desperately wants something against the right, they hang on any shred of 'wrongdoing,' but contradict themselves in asserting there is no such thing as 'wrongdoing' anyway.
