I agree.
But in a very close race, King County Democrats will find a way to maufacture just a few (dozen or hundred) votes to put Cantwell over the top.

I hope that Mike McGavick wins. I can't stand either one of our senators. Murray and Cantwell are two of the most liberal senators in the entire senate. To be honest, they are probably even more far to the left than the liberals in King county who put them into office in the first place.
Who knows, maybe we'll have a fair election this time and actually put the elected official into office. It's hard to come by a fair election in Washington state. Unfortunately, the corruption doesn't seem like it will ease up anytime soon.

Who will count the votes? Cantwell won on two or three weeks of extended recounts. Then we saw the Rossi fiasco. Tell me Republicans have a plan to control that nonsense and I will get interested.

Tell me Republicans have a plan to control that nonsense and I will get interested. Show me the plan, and then convince me it has some real legal teeth in it, and I will donate money.

Going by past experience, Stalin will.

A Republican has to win by quite a bit in Washington State to actually get elected...

There is no plan to stop Rat vote fraud in Washington.
If the Senate race is a squeaker, the Dems will steal it, and there will be some wailing and crying, but nothing else.
The Washington state Republican Party acts like a dog that have been beat too often, trembling at the mere thought of confrontation.

You've got it right, Washington is one of the states that will never let a Republican win. Once the votes are counted, the Dems just find any amount they need and go make them up.

She's blistering the airwaves right now with ads that (as you know) yap about Enron, "The Bush Administration", oil price gouging, blah blah blah. I'd like to think her minions are doing this because she's in relative free-fall.
I wonder if McGavick is keeping his powder dry. Is it just me, or is the semantic "election season" getting shorter?

That's an old picture. Today it's in front of a Taco Del Mar.

is there a green candidate in this race?
wouldn't it be delicious for a green to take away enough votes to elect a Republican this year, the way the libertarian got enough votes to elect the Democrat in 2000?

If it is at all close they will find a way to pull the votes out they need. Oops, a box of ballots found over there, a box over here, ballots mailed out late to Republican leaning precincts and of course the military they might as well be forgotten.
I am praying for a miracle.

In order for it to be Rossi's (and Gorton's) revenge, the GOP candidate has to win by a comfortable margin. Democrats in Washington have a way of "finding" votes in recounts.

"Murray and Cantwell are two of the most liberal senators in the entire senate." Do ya think Cindy Sheehan is Murray's twin separated at birth?
To: .cnI redruM
There is just no way Republicans can win a close election in Wash. state.
