I Googled curcumin and it is available as a supplement. I've read where curry may be effective against other diseases and cancers, too.

Because nothing will stay in your colon long enough to be a problem. ;-p

You may be more right than you think. That's actually some of the reasoning behind why tea has been shown to reduce the incidences of colon cancer. If you drink a lot of it, it's a pretty powerful diuretic, which expels toxins from your intestines more quickly than normal.

BS! It didn't help me. Been a curry and onion person a long time. Like they say eating bananas prevent leg cramps. yeah if you eat a truck load a day.

I have onions for every meal. Supposedly there are different types of curry that are better than the one most Americans are familiar with.

Yes.
In-depth (Texas) evaluations of chili and cayenne dishes prove that, if you eat enough curry and onions, you will no longer have any stomach lining or enough intestines left over to get colon cancer.
Butt I must get an official medical evaluation on this.

Too bad curry is such a foul tasting and smelling substance. Curry is a mixture of spices. Turmeric gives it color, and curcumin is an extract of turmeric. I would say that curcumin is far different from curry as far as smell and taste.

Turmeric is the healthy ingredient and curcumin is an extract of that.

I Googled curcumin and it is available as a supplement. This is the saddest thing about my country. Delicious stuff that's good for you is eventually put in a pill. Personally, I prefer to enjoy the curry, garlic and wine to reap the health benefits.

Onions, yum! My sentiment exactly. But my kids are worse, they try to steal the chopped onions off the cutting board, especially the two year-old. They now know to ask for a piece first so they don't get their fingers cut.

"I Googled curcumin and it is available as a supplement. I've read where curry may be effective against other diseases and cancers, too." I read a scientific study that suggested curry would also prevent you from getting Alzheimer's disease. I eat some curry chicken everytime I have Chinese food.
