Gig 'Em Texas A&M Aggies... beat the hell outta the rest of the Big XII!
TAMU Class of '88
Without Bomar, there are at least 3, maybe 4 QBs on campus. We'll have a guy who can play.
Oklahoma was one of the cofavorites to become BCS champ this year, at least in Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see what it does to the current odds.
Well they won't be able to replace his starting experience from last year immediately.
I'd imagine that Bob Stoops will take the 9-3 year that he's about to have and run with it.
That loss to Texas Tech was a great game ... I got to meet Switzer in the press box and was surprised to find out he is a very nice man!
BWAHAHAHAAH!
(Go Red Raiders!)
A rivals post said that David Hudiburg was on the radio tonight saying they never employed any student athletes at all.
I wanted to check dates on some of this - like Big Red's ownership change. IOW, is Hudiburg parsing his statement:

THE JOURNAL RECORD
OKLAHOMA CITY The Big Red auto imports dealership is being purchased by two of the main figures behind the Hudiburg Auto Group, David Hudiburg said Friday.
A purchase offer was accepted by Big Red Sports/Imports owner Mike Donohue on April 7, Hudiburg said. The president of the Hudiburg automobile dealership would not discuss financial details of the deal other than to say he entered the transaction with Hudiburg General Manager Chris Mayes.
We also signed a management agreement so that well manage the company until the sale is approved by the factories, he said.
Big Red in Norman sells Kia, Suzuki, Isuzu and Subaru. Hudiburg said Big Red is one of the largest Kia and Suzuki dealers in the country. He said he expects the contract to be finalized by early June.
The Hudiburg Auto Group, based in Midwest City, has the family name attached to a large number of automobile brands, including Buick, Isuzu, Chevrolet, Pontiac and Nissan.
Hudiburg said he expects no significant changes in Big Red operations: We like the name; theyve got a great reputation; and hes got really good people in every aspect of the business, he said of the foundation Donohue laid. So were just going to take his people and operate the store.
Donohue will no longer be a stockholder, but Hudiburg said Donohue will remain involved in the dealerships used-car operations.
Brad McRae, the local television advertisement spokesman for Big Red, will no longer be involved in the ads, Hudiburg said.
You could've asked *me*!
That looks like pretty much the whole $18 grand right there.
Maybe CU could pick him up.
*Oh well* We don't need him, anyway.
LOL!! Should we call Big Red Sports and Imports and ask for the Peterson deal??
It helps to have a sense of humor at a time like this.
Thanks, BJC.
Let's see... when we had a running back do something similar in the 80's... the NCAA lowered the boom on us. Bets on whether OU gets any official dicipline?
As for our season... I will be there supporting them win or not.
Actually the thing to do now is for the school to discipline the player before the NCAA does. In recent history, this has allowed the schools to avoid getting nailed too.
