Hezbollah, Lebanon, and the UN are complicit in starting this war in the Middle East. Wars are easier to start than to stop. The cries will get even louder when Hezbollah looses.

In an emotional address to the 15-member UN Security Council on Monday, Lebanese acting Foreign Minister Tarek Mitri pleaded with it to order ceasefire by Israel

What, no plea for hezbullah to also ceasefire or is this just a one way street here..

"We're losin' and we're losin' really, really bad, Mr. Kofi.

Please, please make those awful Jew dogs leave us alone so we don't have to suffer, like them (they deserve it and we don't, Mr. Kofi.)

"UNITED NATIONS, Aug 1: In an emotional address to the 15-member UN Security Council on Monday, Lebanese acting Foreign Minister Tarek Mitri pleaded with it to order ceasefire by Israel in the war and order inquiry into the Israeli bombing in Qana which killed at least 64 people mostly children. "

It was 28 people and the investigation has been completed. The building collapsed 7 hours later, the timestamp on the pictures were hours different and Israel has footage of Hezzies firing from the building.

Conclusion: Hezbollah killed their own and blamed Israel, which has been a common theme over the last 24 years.

I wonder if any Lebanese laws were broken when the swines attacked Israel from Lebanese soil?

If there are not any laws broken, then the Government is criminal.

If Lebanese laws were broken, where are the arrests?

The UN is, once again, about to prove its complete fecklessness and irrelevance.

Yes, why hasn't Lebanese law enforcement been mobilized to find and arrest those citizens who have been firing missles into Israel?

Imagine a band of thugs in Buffalo, NY lobbing rockets into Ontario and the US doing nothing to stop them. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

"Mr Mitri said Lebanon’s cabinet had approved a seven-point plan to end the conflict, which would require an immediate cease-fire, a withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon, a release of Lebanese and Israeli prisoners taken during the conflict, and the deployment of an international peacekeeping force in the southern part of the country."

Sheesh, you gotta be kiddin' me. This guy is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Hezbollah. This 7 point plan would be a big win-win for the bad guys. Turn the heat up a little and the terrorists yelp like a scalded dog.

The UN decided not to help by allowing the thugs to import rockets. Why should the UN help them now? Let's face it - if there was no UN there would be no war or it would have been over by now.

A simple googling of Tarek Mitri's name shows him to be a master rationalizer of dhimmitude.

“We owe our people an honourable way out of this war,” Mr Mitri pleaded with the Security Council.

Actually, Mr. Mitri owed his people no war at all and he could have achieved this by not allowing Hezbollah to take over the south of his country and using it as a base to attack Israel. Crying and pleading to the UN Security Council are no substitute for honesty and real leadership.

Crying to the UN is about as useful as praying that your car will fix itself.

Worse. In response to the UN resolution 1559, requiring ALL militias to disarm, Lebanon disarmed all militias EXCEPT Hezbollah. To excuse this omission, Lebanon then labeled Hezbollah as a "resistance" rather than a militia, so they could inform UN that all militias had been disarmed.

The Lebanese are not just complicit, they are the root cause of the current destruction.
