Many in America tend to question if Europe is any longer part of the west. Just what does Europe standfore any longer then taxing its people and companies and enlarging governments for the sole stupid notion of global warming that needs to have the west stop its success and lose to everyone else.

But both realise that they cannot live in security and prosper as long as the other is in a position to threaten their existence.

Israel is merely defending itself. The Hizballah savages are the aggressors.

“Hezbollah has fought Israel longer than all the major Arab armies combined ever did,” President Ahmadinejad told a crowd in Tehran this week. He also promised that Muslims would soon hear “very good news” about the jihad against the United States.

I strongly believe that we will see nuclear weapons being used at some point in the ensuing years. Unfortunately, on our part, it will be in response to an attack by these rabid dogs on Israel or a western nation.

I ceased questioning years ago. Europe has been hijacked by dogmatic, Leftist-purists and the majority of it's populace abets the crime.

"It hopes to unite the world under the banner of Islam, which it holds to be “ The Only True Faith”. "

They better not let Tom Cruise in on this little secret or they are in big trouble.

That would be intersting to watch. Put some islamonazi nutjobs in the same room as a bunch scientology nutjobs and let them go at it.

Instead of believing the lies they hear on TV and put in print by the likes of the 'NYSlimes' etc, they should go and find out for themselves. Many European citizens ARE still a part of the West, can't say that for a lot of the politicians though, that's why there's so much unrest, just as there is here in the U.S.

An excellent read.

It is time to disengage, however, the vast majority of our troops in Iraq. Let the Iraqi's themselves sort things out and if it means civil war, so be it.

I don't however mean to bring our troops home. It is time to strengthen them, re-outfit them and move them towards the Iranian border.

Let Israel continue to take the battle to Hezbolah. And at the first sign of any Arab nation making a move against Israel, we quit letting Israel act as our proxy, and flatten Iran. Syria and the rest will fall with barely a whimper.

It is time to "let loose the dogs of war."

Let's roll!!!

This week several leading Sunni theologians at the Al-Azhar seminary in Cairo issued fatwas that allow Sunnis to fight alongside and under the command of Shia Muslims. The fatwas came in response to a Saudi fatwa that had declared any association with and support for Hezbollah to be haram (forbidden).

It is time to declare a fatwa on any Islamic mullah who preaches death. Any and all clerics who encourage "death to infidels" or support suicide bombings, etc., need to be taken out by assassination squads.

It would be fitting for Preachers of Death to suffer death. It might help "tame" the radicals. Moderate or die!

Bigger isssue is how does europe respond to anything. It has over the past generation or two made the decision not to defend itself - it virtually has no military - it decided not to fund its defence but to pay people not to work and so when it looks at its response options, the military one is far down the list and the enemy says we are going to kill you and there is little that can be negotated.

"More significant was a message from Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda’s number two. ...."he endorsed the idea of a global campaign against the “infidel”, thus abandoning his previous strategy of focusing the jihad on countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. More significantly, he dropped the al-Qaeda claim of fighting a defensive war against the infidel by designating a vast area of jihad from Spain to India."

Very important point and one the dems (and some republicans) and leftists just haven't comprehended yet.

Except "the west" isn't in favor of the west. Only about half of it is. The other half hates the modern world just as much as Islamic fundamentalists do.

At bottom that hatred, in both cases, is indeed "existential". And it does not have a political cure. Men who hate their lives have excellent concrete reasons for doing so (look inside their heads, look at the world they think they live in, contemplate existence as such a creature), and a band aid won't fix them.
