Very interesting comparison. I do have that kind of gut feeling about Gingrich. While a great leader of the '94 Rep revolution, he didn't do all that well in the Speaker's chair. True, he got a lot of the Contract w/ America agenda passed and he really deserves a lot of credit for that (although whip positions may be equally important in that regard). However, when push came to shove in the '95 showdown, he did not show the political skill to meet Clinton's machine.
About a Bibi redux: Hmmmmm....very interesting. It is so tantalizing to think of him at the podium instead of Olmert. Though give credit where credit is due. Olmert has made some of the best speeches of his political life in recent days. Like a decent conservative I support the leader in a time of crisis, even if he is otherwise loathesome.

RUSH mentioned it today on his show, that the EXIF information embedded in DIGITAL photographs of the dead Lebanese children tells quite a different story.
This information embedded in a digital picture, tells the time and date and other information about the picture.
The story at the link details the times the pics were taken.
Simply put, it appears that the bodies of at least two dead children were paraded around in front of photographers for hours. Staged in seperate areas with, sometimes the same person and at other times, a different person. Bodies were placed, photographed and then moved and rephotographed for hours.
HORRIBLE animal behavior by the Hizzies.
