Maybe on Rush's website later; I always forget he has a web site but it's entirely likely the entire exchange will be posted there.
Don't know,
the General hasn't returned my call.
... and speaking of generals and elephants, last night I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How an elephant ever got in my pajamas I'll never know!
hah!
"...Another airstrike hit the main Lebanese-Syrian border crossing for the third time in as many days, the army and witnesses said. Israel said the strike targeted a truck importing weapons from Syria. It said the strike was in Lebanese territory.
But Lebanese police officials said two missiles struck near a vehicle carrying relief supplies near the customs post at Masnaa, wounding four people and a customs officer. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release information to the press..."
"...July 31, 2006 - Beirut, Lebanon - PipeLineNews.org - Irans Foreign Minister - Manouchehr Mottaki - has just landed in Beirut, thus lending credence to claims that Hezbollah is nothing but a proxy army for the Mullah controlled terrorist state.
Mottaki's shuttle terror coordination found him previously in Damascus, Syria.
Both Iran and Syria are believed pivotal in Hezbollah's terror campaign and commended the group for the kidnapping of two IDF soldiers, which instigated the current military crisis..."
Yes, I was. I'll pass on the video as I'm experiencing some probs with them right now and take your description instead. Thanks!
I guess that would make the Syrian gov't liars, cowards or both. Wasn't there supposed to be a trip wire based upon Israeli planes/weaponry proximity to Damascus or Syrian border?

Hypothetical:
If you wanted to get from point A to point C, while circumventing point B (The UN). Would it not be
wise to ensure that point B was involved to some degree from the beginning while ensuring that point B
self-destructs from its own actions and is no longer a hinderance to getting to point C? Hope that made a
little sense.
I may not be the guy to ask on this one. If I'm at A, need to get to C, and B's in the way, I ask him politely to let me through, if he doesn't, I go around, and if he steps back in the way, neutralize him.
You'd have to be on Syrian land to be that close.
I speculate the that Syrians are playing a game with their forces along the border to affect Israeli deployment, short of a shooting war.
Would you settle for Secretary of Defense in 2008?
imho,
Reading Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Psalms Mat 24 and Revelation regularly in this era is just good horse sense. Lots of things will become more obvious once things predicted have past. The cryptic language becomes clearer.
Many things are not that cryptic, however.
Israel became a nation again in a day in 1948 as Scripture predicted.
Jerusalem is a heavy weight around the neck of the whole world as predicted. Russia is allied with Syria and Persia against Israel as predicted.
The King of the East may be China--it is certainly allied with Persia against Israel . . . also within such predictions. But India and the -stans are also against Israel.
Israel will likely still be disciplined as Scripture indicates--for foresaking her close relationship with Almighty God. She is currently rather rabidly secular over all--with minor exceptions.
Damascus will be obliterated for good.
Gog and Magog will be essentially obliterated in a war with Israel and never more rise to any significance.
All creation will observe what rebellion against God and relationship with God result in . . . in terms of consequences.
23:14 Palestinians open fire on IDF position near Tul Karm; no injuries or damage (Itim)
correction: "12 miles/20 kilometers from Damascus"
Masnaa, Lebanon is about 26 miles from Damascus.
AMEN! Thank God we have President Bush in office vs SKERRY LURCH IDIOT IV

INDEED!
Thanks.
And the building drum beat goes on.
DAMASCUS - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad ordered the armed forces "to step up their state of readiness" Monday in the face of Israel's continuing offensive against his country's western neighbour, the official SANA news agency said.
The president ordered troops to "intensify their training efforts, be prepared and increase their state of readiness in the light of the international situation and the challenges in the region," SANA said.
Assad issued the new orders as the Syrian military prepared to commemorate Army Day Tuesday.

Israel grows less secular each year, btw...Calling it rabidly secular today is to have the Israel of the 60s and 70s in your mind...lots secular, but not what it once was.
