I can't bring myself to hate kids, especially toddlers...

I'm with you, Mike. The photos from Lebanon are hauntingly like those from Beslan. I mourn for them all while despising the adults responsible.

I'm troubled by the cold-heartedness on display here on FR. Few have spared a thought for the loss of innocent life, and many have even cheered and made sport in a manner not too dissimilar to the way Arabs cheered our loss of life on 9/11.

I am not unsympathetic; nor do I dislike children.

However ........ I would have to have the term "children" defined. The way "they" usually define it is "anyone under the age of 18".

How many of the "innocents" were truly children ... say, under the age of 10 or 11 ... and how many of them were older ... potential, if not actual, suicide bombers?

We must all beware of propaganda ... from outside sources as well as from our own news media.

To all
There needs to be a massive conservative public repudiation of the MSM.
Call your cable companies and ask that MSM media news shows be blocked, particularly CNN (They won't do it of course but it would send a message!), local affiliates be told the national news hour will be wasted commercial time because, it won't be watched.
Also ALL subscriptions to MSM print producers be dropped.

Missing the point and somewhat of a idealistic naive response. While tragic, as I said, our resolve cannot be with out question, or they will win.

I won't flame you, but you can't know what those kids would have grown up to be like as adults. Are we really going to let ourselves be like the Islamists who cheered our dead on 9/11?

As long as hatred is being preached in the madrasses by terror mongers, they will grow up with a penchant for dying like martyrs in a suicide attack on Jews or Christians.

Think of Hamas and Hezbollah as an entire population of Andrea Yates and Darlie Routiers.

I am as well, sigh....

Let's take a moment of silence for the Yates children, and for the Routier children.

Andrea Yates should get the death penalty. I don't know who the Routier children are, but if they were slaughtered innocents, I mourn and pray for them as well. The big difference between cases like Yates and what we saw on display here on FR today is this: Most of us are capable of feeling for murdered children like the Yates boys. In contrast, many of us on FR just shrugged and even made sport of the deaths of those Lebanese children.

And before you jump to an incorrect conclusion, the deaths of Israeli children are just as horrifying to me.

Oh yeah, just a little reminder as if we need it, these people were dancing in the streets on 911...911 by the numbers....tough to feel a lot of sympathy.

Are we to become like them? Are we to dance in the streets at the sight of broken babies? If so, when do we lose our humanity?

And who were the parents of these children who were protesting the UN... who feeds them regardless. Gd bless these children, and may their parents see Hezbollah is not social justice... they can't feed them, or let them out... but launch missles among them, and surround themselves with civilians. I pray for their parents and for the men who seem to always be missing fromt he women and children... I wonder why.

Someone held these kids and parents. Flyers, two days warning... and you would still leave your kids there? Knowing they're firing rockets by you? No parent would... no matter where they're from... unless forced.

The way the men manhandled those children for display showed no compassion whatsoever. They might as well have been have been hams.

I like several of your observations. We see no tears . . yup. They could have evacuated women & children and they could have had shelters just like nearby Israel has and they didn't bother. They did none of that because they want to die; it's what they say.

No one in their right mind does!...do they?....

Judging from comments on these threads today, even this one, I think the answer is yes. Too many do hate even the little ones...and rejoice at their deaths.

That's a line I never want to cross in my own life, no matter how hard the Islamofacists may make it for us in the future.

You're a genius. You know, given your lack of sympathy for children, you are showing VERY CLEAR SIGNS that you agree with the terrorists. After all, what are dead children of your enemy? Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.

First of all, thank you for recognizing intellect superior than your own. Secondly, I fully believe that the only way to eradicate terror is to eradicate ALL those who embrace Islamic fundamentalism as the terrorists, whether Hamas, Hesbollah, Al Qeida, Islamic Jihad, seem to love murder and death more than they love their own children--so my sympathy lies with the families (AND THE CHILDREN, BTW) of the Christians and Jews they have targeted.

I can't say I'm surprised by this display on FR.

They are internet people after all.

Of course we are not dancing in the streets, if anything, it just makes me more angry at Hezbollah, and more determined that Israel needs to do whatever it has to to eradicate this cancer from her borders.

Fine. I'm whatever, but I won't willing be a killer of Children. Notice that I'm NOT blaming Israel for any of this. They CERTAINLY did not want to kill these kids. That stuff happens in a war. But it was NOT intentional, unlike what Hezbollah does.

While tragic, as I said, our resolve cannot be with out question, or they will win.

Who is questioning resolve? This thread is about prayers for CHILDREN.
