It has been nearly 20 years since I can say I am proud of my President. The current occupant has done what Clinton could never do, destroyed my faith in our political system. Of course X42 was much worse, but I expected little and received exactly that. With this empty suit, I expected much, and received less than nothing. We as a country have taken steps in the wrong direction, in every venue.

Ms Rice may be a highly intelligent woman, with a great future in politics, but she is a failure as a Sec of State. As others have said before me, we need someone with fire in their eyes, ice in their veins, fluent in ME language(s) and testicles. She fails in at least two of the categories.

I agree with every single word in your post. She is not the man for the job.

I don't know what the hell is going on with this administration. If our border countries were firing hundreds of rockets daily into our country, killing and maiming hundreds of Americans and destroying our homes and livelihoods...is the tact the administration is taking now...peace talks...also be the way we go?

When Kerry called for a "kindler gentler" prosecution of the Iraq war, Bush told him he was off base. Ever since his re-election, he has been following Jean Kerrrrreees plan to perfection.

I would like to have the pre-'04 election Bush back, America needs the pre-'04 Bush. I guess that ain't gonna happen since he can't be elected again.

Will the day come where they decide to sit down with al queada and have talks and calls for peace, like they want Israel to have with hezbollah?

"There was no condemnation from the Secretary of Hezbollah's reprehensible practice of using Lebanese civilians as human shields."

Doesn't matter, she is not taken seriously by most of the world community, especially the muslims.

We really need to start spelling the name correctly: Hizb'Allah. All of a sudden, people will realize that this is a religiously motivated terror group, and not some political group. Hizb'Allah. It means "messengers of God".

Which is a sad commentary on our SOS.

That's because you can't delink things like support for abortion from a person's overall character

She has a flaw in her moral perception of reality and it shows in other areas as well

" The very least Secretary Rice could have said is that this practice is wrong and Israel was not to blame for those deaths, the sole responsibility of which rests with Hezbollah that has converted Lebanese towns and villages into killing fields. We must protest this error in judgment and Hezbollah must not escape the consequences of its breaking every law known to man and God alike. "

Amen!
