The issue of battery packs needs to be de-mystified.

I bet this trike has a great range at winter temps like < 20°F

Now there is a cool idea, unlimited range,
additional plus of environmental heating from the Pu-238 generator,
compact packaging

May be a tab bit expensive to manufacture

The problem is it costs too much. If they could make them in China and market them for $5000, then they might be a practical commuter vehicle. For $25,000 I could buy a real car and a motorcycle as well and there's no way it would save enough gas on short little trips to make up for it's high pricetag.

Yes, but the other one has a vortex valve and you get a free flowbee with it.

"Manufactured entirely in a South Avenue facility in Tallmadge, the NmG is the nation's only all-electric, highway-legal vehicle that can hit 70 mph and costs less than $25,000, said Dana Myers, founder and president of Myers Motors."

I hope it comes with satin interior. Most other coffins do

Myers Motors' new NmG (No more Gas) vehicle certainly is one thing: energy-efficient.

70 mph on the highway with a design like a tricycle in reverse?  Looks like he should name it TdT (The death Trap).

In regards to the kids and dog...I actually am on the other side of the fence. My husband was looking into a motorcyle, the Smart Car (which there is a long wait for in the U.S.), and the NmG. We have a family vehicle that was purchased specifically for the safety of our children. When it came down to it, I preferred the NmG because he will not have one of our little ones in it, it is safer than a motorcyle (like being in a helmet) and it is an excellent commuter car for him to take to work everyday during the work week. I also plan on using it to go grocery shopping and run errands. There is no point in me driving a multiple passenger vehicle when there is only one person in it. It has a great deal of space for storage - I think it fits 8 bags of groceries. Not for trips to Costo or Sam's Club, but it is perfect for local shopping. We also love the fact that we are not just talking about the enviroment to our children, we are teaching them by example. Kind Regards from a proud NmG owner

Welcome to FR. Can you tell me about the range? They say 30 miles, but does it start slowing down after 20? It is interesting, but I'll have to wait for the 100 mile version.
