You're awfully eager to believe all of this, even though the "TMZ" source is very questionable.
Sounds like every other loud mouthed beligerent drunk I have ever seen. Must mean Mel is human, after all. That and a bit conservative.
I wonder what all came out of Patches Kennedrunk's mouth that we never heard of?
You getd runk, get caught and run off at the mouth, you pay the price, regardless of who you are. Unless, of course, your last name is Kennedy.
"You're awfully eager to believe all of this, even though the "TMZ" source is very questionable.
"
Not really. It just wouldn't surprise me. Just because the man made a movie about Christ doesn't mean he's a nice guy. We'll see.
I'd have to agree with you there.
I read where the police took a video of him under arrest; it should indicate if he is inebriated. If true, I guess his only excuse will be like that of Cary Grant in North by Northwest, arrested for DUI after he was kidnapped by Soviet agents who restrained him, poured liquor down his throat and put him behind the wheel of a car so he'd drive drunk off a cliff.
It is best to give the benefit of the doubt and not run with the hate, thats all.
God bless
Okay folks, time to cast your vote for the best celebrity drunk:
Voting Criteria should include entertainment value, surprise revelation of previously hidden character flaw, and the inevitable apology following arrest
A)Nick Nolte:
B)Mel Gibson:

Read this! This is a bit more respectable news source and as you can see when you read it they say that Gibson was taken into custody without incident. Makes this story not credible!
I didn't say he was a nice guy. In fact, he's praised his wife publicly for staying with him through a lot [which he's gone into in detail]. You just seem particularly eager for this to be true, inspite of the lone, very questionable, and unsupported source.
I woundn't take a whole lot of face value in TMZ.
Kinda like National Enquirer.
...inspite of the lone, very questionable, and unsupported source
What cop in his right mind would risk his job to slander a movie star?
Write in: Glenn Campbell
[His mugshot is just as scary as Nolte's.]
I'd write in Christian Slater, but there's video tape of that one.
"You just seem particularly eager for this to be true, inspite of the lone, very questionable, and unsupported source."
Actually, if you'll Google it, you'll find that this story is not limited to a single publication. I'm not eager for anything. I've said that already. We'll see what comes of this. I'm just saying that I'm never surprised when a Hollywood type turns out to have feet of clay, so to to speak.
No kidding. This stuff from TMZ has an odor to it.
The reported reaction doesn't equate to the BAC (.12). I would think that at .12 he could keep his head.
Appears he may have finally gone over that edge.
Sad and pathetic.
